I bought this for my 5 year old granddaughter’s birthday. She loved it and loved the glow in the dark stars. WIN for grandma!

This is marketed as for kids 8-12 and then says toddler bean bag... So I was a bit confused but decided to order it for my 11 year old and hoped it would work. This is actually a really decent sized bean bag and my son can easily and comfortably sit on it.I want to mention that this actually includes the filling! I've looked at tons of bean bags on here that are only the cover. This one is the whole deal - beans and bag!We had a lot of fun when we first got this it's was majorly vacuum sealed. Upon cutting it out of the plastic, it began immediately decompressing. Then it kind stopped and was a funky half smashed looking circle lol. We read the instructions, which said to use heat to make it fluff up faster. So we decided to drag it over to our heater vent and let it sit there for awhile. I'd like to note that this is a rather heavy chair - when I say drag it, we literally had to drag it lol. Within an hour, it was like 3x the size it had been. We set it up where it was going to go in my son's gaming area. But morning it had fluffed up even nicer, but needed a bit of reshaping. We managed to get it into a better bean bag shape, but haven't been able to get it to look quite like the listing picture. It's still a really nice bean bag chair, but it doesn't have much of a "back" to it like it appears to in the photo.This is very nice and definitely big enough for an older kid or even a small-moderate sized teenager. I'm 5'1 and I can sit and fit on it comfortably.

My 4 year old toddler is at that age where he enjoys reading books, e-books, joining online classes, completing activities etc to challenge his mind. Why not find a comfortable chair or better yet a bean bag chair?! The following is my honest review and all is based on my personal experience.For my initial assessment, bean bag chair arrived neatly packed in a box and compressed Inside a clear plastic bag. It has a very nice weight to it and does not feel like the cheaper bean bags chairs. Pleasant heather gray like color with cute dinosaur prints.Pros:1. Outer fleece like material feels very soft, warm, and comfortable.2. Removal and washable outer cover.3. You can easily shape the bean bag for maximum comfort.4. The generous weight and non slip base make it perfect for use on hard floors as well as carpet.5. Glow in the dark dinosaur print makes it fun for night time use!6. Even when taken right out of the box no strong chemical odors were detected.Cons:1. Inner material which appears to be foam, can be felt through the soft outer cover.2. Because the inner material is more firm, I find myself having to fluff and adjust it more often to make sure my child is comfortable.3. Bean bag chair does not tend to return back to its original form after being sat on. Hence why you would need to adjust it more often.Note: Since the bean bag is compressed inside a plastic bag. You need to allow at least 24-72 hours for it to fully expand back to normal size.To summarize, this is great children’s bean bag. Has a nice weight and feel to it. It would be nice if the outer material was a bit more thicker. Also unlike other bean bag chairs made from different inner materials, this one does not tend to return back to its original shape. Although a bit more on the pricy side, you can definitely feel the difference between a less expensive bean bag. My child is very happy with it!

Do not buy for any kids who are in school. It is waaaaaay too small. For as small as it is, it should only be $20. Its more toddler sized than anything else. If it's for a kid in school, look for a bigger chair. Says "it'll expand in 4 days" but no, no it won't.
