The top of the lights have opening that trap the rain and snow, causing weight build up and the supplied brackets start folding downward. I'm also concerned about the rain freezing in these open pockets and cracking the light housing, making it even more venerable to yhe weather and causing the light to fail. I bought many of these for our storage facility. I wouldn't by them again. I will update with pictures later

i have this thing in my back yard, i can't say i'm pleased with it i leave it with the panels facing the sky and it doesn't work for a long period of time at all, i have shade in the back yard but sun does come threw so i'm not sure why this thing isn't working at night like it should, it will work a couple of hours then after that it goes out, very disappointed, i'm going to put it in my front yard where there is more sun and see if i get a different result, if i do i will post a followup review

Well I've tried multiple solar street lights of this type. I want to get him surprised at the quality of the build materials and the options given to the user by the remote control which allows for different methods of operating the unit. From manual on and off to dust to dawn to dusk to set amount of hours. For the most part they do last all the way through the night even with a overcast day following that night. I would not go as far as to say that these lights are straight lights as many claim that they are because they are not a full 500 watts bright. But as far as a great flood light on a large residence or commercial building, yes they fit the bill perfectly.

This light was super easy to install (4 screws and you are done). I mounted this up high near the peak of my roof and the light spread is fantastic.I also much prefer the integrated solar panel within the case as it negates the unseemly look of a separate panel that other lights of this genre seems to embrace.Motion detection worked properly.Recommended!

Mounted in a tree. The sun is still able to charge up the light enough when mounting in the tree. As soon as I'm walking up to the light is senses me and turns on to bright and lights a very large are. I'm in a fairly wooded area, so solar lighting is important! I have several lights throughout my property and they are all great! I highly reccommend solar lighting!!!
