New thumb throttle to replace my original from 2004. Have had a few rolls in the past years.Pro- Mostly same as original- Fair construction (Slightly different than Original)Con- Have to press thumb throttle in or slide on handle bar without grip (Original was just a drop and screw).- No seal on top cover (Luckily my 18y old seal is fine).- Metal shavings from screw threads on top (Used a nylon brush and some air to clean it out).- Thumb throttle stop screw, on the front, is quite long and could be shorter (Recommend using a Dremel to shorten or go buy a shorter one at local Hardware store).Sum- Overall high 3 star but gonna give it a 4.
