I would never buy another brand of Cycling tire. I put new Continental 5000 tires on my Trek Domaine last spring and they are still looking good after over 6000 Kms.

Seem ok. Not sure why 32mm only measure 30mm when mounted on my 19mm Id rims. My last set of Conti’s measured exactly what the sidewall said. Roll ok so….guess I’m running 30mm this season.

Continental Customer Service was very helpful letting me know that if you want to go tubeless, you need to order the TR version of these tires, which I didn't.These installed and seated normally. What can you say about that part of the process? Once seated (I hadn't added sealant), they lost pressure rapidly. I didn't want to void the warranty, so I contacted Continental, and we sorted out that I had bought the non-tubeless version of these tires.I put some tubes in them, and I have been very happy. A little bit of research told me that tubeless 95 p.s.i. road bike tires aren't the thing for me (commuting, light touring, easy gravel). A patch kit and spare tube in my frame bag are the way I'm going.Traction is good on wet and dry pavement, and it grips like a slick on gravel, mud, or wet grass (i. e. not much). I am not a racer that can tell a fast tire from a slow one, but these don't make road noise. I think that is a good sign as far as efficiency.These tires are not wearing out fast, but when they are worn, I will likely replace them with the same thing. Zero complaints.

I really like Continental 5000 tires, but if I would have wanted 30mm tires, I would have ordered that specific size, not 32’s like those I did order. I have another bike with 28mm 5000’s and they measure exactly 28mm when mounted. If you are picky about tire width, be mindful you may get less then what you were looking for.

These are great riding tires. They have almost a spongy feel to them. I am a fan of the wider tires on road bikes as comfort is important to me. Very smooth and easy to install. I’ve always liked Continental tires and these are very good. I’ve only put about 200 miles on them so far and they seem pretty durable. Much better grip and ride than GatorSkins and it seems they are pretty puncture resistant .
