This QD sling swivel is made of good quality material. It holds very securely. It works well attaching my sling to the hand guard. Happy with this product.

This is a very well made sling swivel, but they make it difficult to know where it is made. The Amazon listing here says country of origin is China, but the product itself does not say made in China. There are two cards inside the product bag that go into a lot of detail about what the company stands for etc (and I really appreciate that). But it says their products are made using German techniques, and then it says their products are made both in the USA and in China. And if they do not specify then I have to assume it's made in China. HOWEVER... I just noticed the same company has another listing on Amazon for a QD swivel that is very similar but with a more oval / rounded (less squared) ring shape and it very clearly says it is made in the USA. It's only $2 more. I would very happily pay two dollars more for a product that is made in the USA, even if the quality is identical.

Magpul's $15 QD swivel is the gold standard among QD swivels.And yes, it's pricey, but for that price you get manganese phosphate coated carbon steel QD swivel with tight QC and proven strength.And accordingly, there are TONS of knock-offs on the market. Many use cheap pot metal, aluminum, or cheaper metals. And even the ones that use steel often use a cheapo steel with a cheap finish, such as paint or parkerization.This QD swivel from Continental Liberty does EVERYTHING to match the current industry standard. It is quality carbon steel that is then finished with a manganese phosphate finish. Just like Magpul.But these are asking 33% less money in return for a nearly equivalent product.9/10, I am genuinely surprised at the quality of these QD swivels. My digital micrometer says they match Magpul in every dimension. When I need to buy in bulk, I'll definitely be getting more of these in the future.
