Big fan of Levoit air purifiers but not a fan of the price of replacement filters. These filters seem to be the same quality as the brand-name ones but at a lower cost. They were easy to replace and are now working fine in my purifiers.

First off, the filter is working fine for me, so the one-star drop here isn’t because anything has gone wrong with the filter. I’m just leaving a little room for uncertainty due to some unknowns about the carbon layer filter.I installed one of these filters in my Levoit Core 200S, and it fit perfectly. The unit powered up and ran like normal. A red icon showed up about a day later, which made me pause, but it turned out to be a standard filter reset reminder. Once I cleared that, everything continued running smoothly. This filter is advertised as having a 3-stage system – pre-filter, H13 HEPA layer, and an activated carbon layer. I’m not a filter expert, so I was relying on that description. But I later saw a review from someone who physically compared this brand to the OEM Levoit filter. According to them, the other filter used actual activated charcoal medium, while this one appeared to use a charcoal-impregnated foam layer – which may be less effective at removing VOCs, odors, and other chemical pollutants.I haven’t opened up the filter to check myself – and even if I did, I wouldn't really know what I was looking at – but it’s good information for people who are very sensitive to things like smoke or off-gassing. If that’s you, you may want to stick with a brand that specifically shows a granular charcoal layer or has more test data behind it.That said, I did recently receive two items – a rug underpad and a pet carrier – that both arrived with strong, unpleasant odors. I placed them near the purifier overnight, and by morning the smells were either gone or significantly reduced. I can’t say for sure whether that was due to the purifier and this filter or just natural off-gassing, but I’d like to think the filter contributed.Price-wise, this two-pack currently goes for about $21, which is quite a bit cheaper than a single Levoit-branded filter (around $28 at the time of writing). Other two-pack alternatives fall somewhere in the low to mid-$20s, so this one is priced competitively. There’s not much public information about SecureElastic as a brand, so it’s hard to speak to their long-term reliability. However, the filter seems to be working well so far, and for general everyday use, it feels like a decent value. I will certainly consider this product for future purchases.

These filter replacements fit very well. The first image is one of them inside the unit, the other next two it. There are two filters included (as of this review). The only thing to be aware of, as shown in the 2nd image, is that there is a foam seal around the filter. There is a foam seal on the original but, the replacement one is slightly thicker, meaning you might have to press down, very slightly more, than usual. It's not terrible, and certainly not going to damage the unit - it is foam after all. It probably makes an even better seal to be honest. But it something to be aware of, if you're sensitive to differences, you might notice it. Again, not a problem at all, it may even be an improvement.Fired up two Levoit filters and they both worked just fine with these replacements. No explosions are car crashes so it's got that going for it. I actually believe they're cheaper than the actual Levoit ones by quite a lot as well so, if you're looking to save a few bucks, they should work.I did NOT test the air quality to see if these actually filter as they should. I'll make a caveat statement here, if you need these for actual, medical issues, that are important, just get the name-brand ones. If you just need the air filtered better, maybe a slight bit of asthma or whatever, these will likely be fine.

Living in New York City, I cannot live without my air purifier. My apartment is always dusty and with the window facing the street from fourth floor, I can tell you that the air is in constant need of purifying. With that having been said, I found this air purifier filter to fit my Levoit perfectly and is just as good as my previous filters. There are a lot of listings for air filters for this brand and they all use different color schemes. I wish it was standard colors. It seems for this listing, the colors don't represent any difference. In other words, its purely cosmetic which is silly because the filter isn't even visible from outside. The main thing is that it fits perfect for now. I haven't done any testing to determine its efficacy or strength. The listing claims to remove carbon and do all the rest of the things the other filters say which is good.It feels durable and identical to other models. I have no complaints about this filter.

These SecureElastic LEVOIT Core 200S Purifier 2 Pack Replacement Filters are 3-in-1 H13 true HEPA & activated-carbon replacements. This filter supposedly delivers the same performance as the original OEMs, but purportedly at about half the cost.I've owned my Core 200S purifier for a couple of years. I have used other replacement filters, which look almost exactly the same as the OEMs, and they have all worked fine. This one is yellow and all other others I've used were white. Other than that...SecureElastic claims these will capture 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns. Also, the manufacturer says its product provides low air resistance, high efficiency, and minimal pressure loss to ensure maximum filtration performance.Time will tell the validity of the claims for these, but I expect the same good performance that I've experience with others.
