Considering Lowes sells one of these for a few bucks, finding a large pack of these for this low price was incredible. Now granted, they are not top quality, they do lack the fine machining and tight tolerances...but if all you need is something simple that works, these will do the job.

I bought this to fit a 3/16" wide eye hook, as they said the opening was 0.23", or just short of 1/4". The opening is actually just more than 1/8", so they do not fit. I will have to return them.Update: I inspected all of them, and 5 out of the 15 had around 1/4" openings. The rest were 3/16" +- 1/16", so I was able to use some of them. Just be aware that the opening size varies.

good quality but has a lip that is wider than the rest of clip at the threaded end of it so it is actually to big to good through a 3/16 hole even though it is an 1/8 clip
