Module works as it should for the steering controlsradio works like factory stillall speakers work But I noticed my overall sound has significantly been reducedsome searching online and a few have reported bad modules. I may have hit the jackpot because my overall volume level has significantly been reduced.I tried to hotwire the speakers from the radio directly and they are significantly louder! which is a little disappointing.

Worked perfectly with my 2003 GMC Sierra 2500HD (extended cab) with Bose radio. I installed a Pioneer MVH-2400NEX headunit. Wire colors matched between Pioneer and this adapter.Chimes work and can be adjusted for volume. The radio continues to work when you turn engine off and remove the key (as before) and radio shuts down appropriately as soon as you open a door (again, as before).I don't have steering wheel controls so I can't verify that part of the installation.NOTE: The description doesn't mention it but my package included an antenna adapter with the kit. Similar to Metra 40-GM10
