The flat design is also a big plus—it's easy to level off ingredients for more accurate measurements, which is especially important when baking. I love how the spoon's shape allows me to easily scoop and level dry ingredients like flour, sugar, or spices, ensuring that I get just the right amount every time. They now permanently live on my fridge, long the edge of the door, and no-one even realizes (black on black)!

The original version of the measuring spoons that work with this type of geometry were made of a thicker and less floppy silicones. These ones are unfortunately too thin and floppy for any accurate use. The magnets are very strong, so using anything but the smallest spoon it will be a challenge. For a larger spoon you'll need to hold it awkwardly open. That is to say, the magnets want to close aggressively.This product work, but poorly. I would normally say the price can carry it, but in this case it is

I didn't find it cheap and nasty like other reviewers but admittedly I was expecting hardened plastic which bends at the lines so the exact measurement. It is more flexible than expected and I think made of silicone and in fact that's actually better because it should last longer than plastic as it would bend and not break. Measurements are pretty accurate too. I'm happy with it

I was unsure how they could pull off six measurements in two fold-flat 'spoons', and it is quite genius. Using magnets embedded in side of silicon sheet with fold zones (creases) to make it fold into different capacity 'ends'. Amazing concept unfortunately TERRIBLE implementation.These are down-right dangerous, very small magnets that are barely held in small slots in side of the 'spoons' easily come out, and could fall into whatever your measuring without you noticing. If used for food they are so small you would not notice but if ingested could be dangerous.Do NOT buy these - they are dangerous. The magnets need to be embedded inside the 'spoon', not half installed in a small slit in side. They need to add a folded pouch or at the very least glue them in (with food safe glue) - as they are the magnets come out in normal use and are small (and dangerous).
