Needed to frequently change blade while cutting the carpet but this seems to be true for any blades

I was going to remove my living room carpet and wanted a knife specific to it rather than a typical shop knife. I bought these and the hook blade. My carpet was very plush so the hook blade kept getting clogged. I went to put these on my shop knife but found the wouldn't fit. I tried holding the blade in vise grips but that wasn't effective. I bought a carpet blade holder locally and, when cutting the rest of the carpet, felt like I had a "light dagger" in my hands because it cut so easily. Very good blades.

Blades fit my old Craftsman Carpet Cutting tool. They are very sharp and durable. The blades do not chunk. (small pieces break creating a jagged cutting surface on the blade which tears the carpet rather than cleanly cutting it)Prime Shipping so had it quick, in my case the next day, not 2 days, no extra charge! Thanks for letting me win one Amazon! LolIdk about you but its nice to get something on-line these days that actually works correctly, even something so basic as a carpet cutter blade! So much junk on the market now, hope this review helps.
