Makes a nice light if you’re wanting to light up an area for a cozy feel. With out being too harsh. I like the color temperature but was too bright for my original application. Would be great for around a campfire or deck area.

They look nice, but these are way too bright. The boxes aren’t marked with obvious color indicators … learn from my mistake, light them up at night before you work on installing them during the day.

I have done several low voltage strip lights installs in my yard over the last 15 years, these are the best. In past installs I would buy a separate 12 volt transformers and at times be limited on how far in feet I could run a strand of lights. While they say 16.4 feet is the max, I have soldered some together to get 32 feet but that is pushing it. With these 110 volt lights, distance and separate transformers are no longer an issue. With this 150ft roll/coil, you also get TWO standard 110 volt plugins that can power separate strands. Example 1 50ft and 1 100ft strands could be created from the 150 ft roll. If you want 3 or more strands you need to buy more 110 volt plugins (at $20 apiece - search Amazon for: ASIN B07DHKZSH9). These 110 volt plugins appear to have a built in voltage reducer that is about an inch square. I assume (but not sure) that this knocks the voltage down to 24 volts or more??? Do note that there is no adhesive on the back of these strip lights. Most 16.4 strands of led lights you find have a sticky back, these do not. With that said, I always found that adhesive to be worthless for long term use. When installing my lights outdoors I always use "E6000 glue" (best glue ever and something every DYIer should have in their tool box, it is clear, waterproof and last for years). These lights are dimmable but the common 12 volt dimmer that comes with other brands does not work here since the input is 110 volts. I tried to find an outdoor dimmer that I could plug the 2 prong 110 volt plugin into but they all had major drawbacks, mostly not remembering the dimmer setting when the dusk-to-dawn timer turns the lights off. I ended up buying this indoor nightstand dimmer ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DL7V3CM?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details ) and putting it into a waterproof box on the side of my house with the dusk-to-dawn timers. It seems to work good so far. The waterproof box I bought for the timers and switch was too big but they have many sizes: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075DHT7X2?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1. Have fun, it is worth the effort!

Buena calidad y los de estas luces de led. Funcionan bien y la relación que tienen entre entre precio y calidad es muy buena. Si vale la pena la compra, no tiras tu dinero

These are bright and very nice for large outdoor spaces (like this cedar tree). Note that the color on photographs tends in my experience to be different than what we see with the human eye.You can really cover a lot, like a large tree or structure, and the brightness is quite impressive. I have left mine out of doors for two years now, and I'm starting to see some issues with dark sections, especially when connecting sections together (first section will light up, but possibly due to corrosion the tail section is inconsistent). Given how much rain we get I'm not too upset about it; if I was, I would do a better job of taking them down after the holiday season. The instructions say quite clearly not to plug in when the lights are on the reel, as this will lead to excessive heating. Some reviews include pictures of melted lights on the reel-- just unreel it before you plug it in. You'll probably want to do that anyway, since a tightly coiled line is hard to hang right out of the box.

These are flat and have special flat rubber mounting brackets. I bought these to replace our old rope lights that go around the house and was a little disappointed they were not round like the previous ones however once I got them installed, they are way better than the old ones (could be the led vs regular lights). We have 1 outdoor light and 2 outlets so having these be 150 feet long works great! We live in the country and since they replaced our yard light with a led light, it didn't light up our backdoor/backyard like it use to so we installed these to help with that and keep the bugs away from the door. Bought the bright white (daylight/kind of blue) and did not like those (too bright) wanted something a little less bright and these are perfect, still light but not too bright.
