I bought this bag to attach to a cargo carrier I bought from Harbor Freight. It had a slightly bigger footprint than the cargo carrier, but has a lot of straps for redundancy. Packing this out to be rigid was my goal as it does not keep its form on its own. Having large cardboard boxes to fill it helped keep its form and I used two additional straps across and over the entire width of the bag. It did not move and needed only slight tightening during a whopping 3K mile roadtrip. As far as weatherproof, I was in torrential downpours and extremely high winds in Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona. Not a single drop of water made it into the bag, all of my belongings stayed dry. The rugged zipper is extremely durable, alongside the redundancy of having a cover that Velcro's shut over the zipper.Overall great product, especially for the cost. Setup took about 30min.

The external dimensions are all correct. The edges of the metal body are a little rough. If they don't break in for smooth operation I may need to smooth them down to remove burrs. The supplied screws are far too short because they also must go through an inside handle. Fortunately my old screws were still usable.Getting two of these catches seems like a decent deal, but now I have to figure out where to store the second catch so I can find it if and when the one that I installed wears out.My original door catch, which I presume came with the shower door when the original owner of my house installed it in a remodel project, lasted an amazingly long time. It was still in good shape except the nylon part finally broke after about 50 years of near daily use. I have no idea what brand the old hardware is, but this replacement part is adequate. I was surprised to be able to find it as easily as I did.

I purchased this latch to replace the one on my shower door. It fit perfectly except the screws that came with it were too small for the holes in the door. So, I just reused the old screws with the new latch. It works perfectly.

I am sure it will cover the gear adequately and dry. Very strong material.

Bought this on a whim to use while making a trek from Ontario to Florida and back. It held two large suitcases, 1 medium, 3 small and a large open bag with room to spare. It was very easy to close and open and attach to the carrier. I did put a rachet strap on it as we were driving through the night. But the straps themselves never came loose. It was easy to rollup when we got home and store.

I found this on Amazon and already had a cargo tray. I was prepping to go on a trip with the family and while we have an SUV, it seats 7 and has little room for packing. A roof box seems like a pain because firstly, you need the crossbars, and second, you need the cargo box. When I priced it total was over $1k. My SUV has the tow package so it has the hitch. I then looked for the tow hitch boxes and again, at a minimum was looking at over $500. But then you have to find a place to store it when not being used. Either of these was not an alternative for me at the moment. Since I had the tray, I saw this option. Cubic feet this offers by far the most cargo space. The materials is great and is weatherproof and is thick and sturdy. It includes tie down to secure to the cargo tray. We used in on a 2k mile plus road trip and found this to be easy to use and stayed secure the whole time. At every stop I checked it and it stayed tight. Another great feautre is now that I am back and dont need it, I was easily able to fold it and store in a closet.
