This is exactly as advertised, and works great! My only slight gripe is that there is a mirror at the end of the blade to reflect the light back through the sword. This creates a slightly distracting bright spot. The Lightsaber more than makes up for that in its other features. The color of the blade is great, and is infinitely customizable with the app. I was able to engage in heavy dueling with children who were not gentle with only mild scuffing (most buffed out, and blade still looks great). Finally, the Sound effects are amazing! You can make it sound like anything from a standard Saber, to Kylo Ren's to the DarkSaber! And the hum changes pitch with the slightest movement, making it sound really cool!

These basic saber hilts are simple turned aluminum alloy anodized to color, and turned or buffed to reveal the silver aluminum for contrast.They're mass-produced, and while certainly worth the money, they're nothing you will consider the life-long pinnacle of your saber collection, that's why you should be easily able to find one below the $100 price point. Avoid those that charge more.That said, they are VERY sturdy [I fumbled one on concrete on a spin, and it only left a small dent on the pommel], and as they usually come with a Xeno3 sound/light board, are perfect for both play, and practice if you want to actually learn how to 'fight' [full contact or choreographed will be fine]. These are generally base-lit [the light comes from the base of the saber and gets dimmer as it travels up the blade], so they don't have the fancy ignition animations you get from pixel blades. But if you wanted to, these hilts would easily accept a Xenopixel or Proffie board and blade to convert to the fancier light functions such would give.A lot of fun, good enough appearance that you won't be ashamed to show it to your friends, it won't break any time soon, and has great volume and sound options, with full color and flash effects [that can be done from base-lit: flash on clash, lockup, blaster block], one of these will tell you if you want to get a more expensive character saber in the future, or if they're just not for you. Great for kids AND grown-up kids as well!

Not a pixel blade, the videos in the pictures make it seem like it will dance like a pixel blade, and I feel like the one in the video is a pixel cuz this has no ability to do the rainbow blade but still a great one has lots of features and great for the money. Mine I ordered for me is a pixel blade and has more ability to dance but cost twice as much, if you don’t care about the ability to customize the individual pixels in the blade then this will work great! My wife and I love our lightsabers!

This really surprised me, it looks like the movie version of the star wars films. I had the black series lightsaber i used when i cosplayed or Halloween. this one is way superior to my former lightsaber. everything can be controlled by your phone making it the exactly how you want it. My wife saw this and about to get one. use the coupon and save extra money or edge coupons. i paid 42$ for it and it was truly a bargain for that price. trust me its long and the hilt is heavy which is perfect. Dont know if its met for dueling but its a picture perfect lightsaber you can message me with questions if you want to know about the dimensions. trust me this is the one you would want.
