Absolutely perfect. Can not wait to wear. Will be purchasing another from them when in the market. If ypur on the fence about buying one, you get what you pay for. The quality and craftsmanship speaks for itself. Damn is the best!!! Thanx fellas.... and FYI, real men wear kilts!!

My second kilt from DNKE, and my favorite so far. Right out of the box this thing looks and feels sturdy. I mean really sturdy. Fits perfectly as long as you follow their sizing guide. Looks fantastic. My wife loves it. And the hidden pocket is perfect for a flask or wallet, and has a snap closure I wasn't even aware of at time of purchase that I think makes it even better. All in all, I can say I'm a huge fan of DNKE kilts and will be a lifelong wearer of their amazing products! Thank you DNKE for freeing me from pants prison!

I bought this for my husband, who hasn't yet worn it, but I can give some pro's and con's. Overall I like it and think he will too. My son's approve, so that's four "yes" votes.Good:It looks better than the picture. It's well sewn, solid stitching, no stray threads or other telltale signs of slipshod work.Fabric is very thick and durable, no irregularities.Fabric has a bit of stretch which will help if the wearer gains a couple pounds, or during strenuous activity. The color is accurately described. We hope it fades to a very dark grey in time.Could be better:The snaps probably won't stay closed during vigorous activity, but adding a couple hooks and eyes will solve that with minimal effort or expense.Unlike a more traditional kilt, it's going to be hard to resize if wearer gains or looses more than a couple pounds. Snaps can't be moved without damaging the garment, and the fabric is too thick to take in a little if needed. It is basically unalterable. I may be able to add more details after Christmas when the item is put into use.The fabric may be too thick and heavy for comfortably lounging about the house.A typical sewn kilt can be taken in or let out a bit by moving buttons and adjusting straps. While the snaps look very cool, they are not an improvement on the basic modern kilt design. I think this would be better with button and strap closures, which could be done in a more edgy way. That's a lot of criticism for an item that I do like very well, but I find that reading detailed critical reviews are the most helpful.

I've been raised around kilt-wearers, but had never purchased one of my own. I researched Utilikilt, 5.11 Tactical, and countless others before deciding DNKE was the way to go. Needless to say, I'm ecstatic with the quality and fit of my kilt! I knew how to measure for a kilt so their sizing chart nailed it! (Please See my NOTE at the bottom of this review)That being said WOW this is one well-made heavy duty kilt! If you've not worn a kilt before, envision what it feels like to wear a comfortable towel wrapped around your waist after getting out of the shower... Now add a few rugged/manly pounds to the weight of the towel and remove the concern of it falling off while in public. That's a kilt! This particular kilt is manly, but definitely has a classy edge to it. (I would quite happily wear this to a wedding or other formal occasion). I do recommend a belt (up to 2.5" width) so when the women swoon and try to rip it off to get at your goods you can have a fun little game of tug-o-war before tossing them over your shoulder and carrying them back to your man cave (which you built while wearing your ruggedly handsome kilt).I have already ordered a 2nd kilt (the Sport Utility) and will be ordering the Highlander as soon as it is available in the size and color I want. Now pardon me while I go buy some manly things car parts and lumber and nails to pound in with my fist.***NOTE: Guys who are measuring for a waistline: Measure at the level of your belly button (being that is where a kilt is supposed to sit). Also, measure both while in a standing and a seated position (This generally doesn't change much, but may give you something to consider if you want to be comfortable while sitting).--- I have a 35-36" waist at my belly button and the SM-MED fit me perfectly! ---
