I like these picks. Everything as in description. I’ve used Ibanez Paul Gilbert signature before. But I had to get new pick every 8-12 hours of playing. These are much more durable with different but very pleasant sound. Also much more comfortable that any other picks.

I own many picks and like trying out new gear. Also more expensive stuff like BlueChip, Wegen, Gravity, ChickenPicks... The original Precision Pick of Dan's Guitar Store is made out of nylon and has a bit of flex to it. It's a good allrounder, but most of the time I like a more rigid feel. The smaller variation called Mini is stiffer and has a different (and in my opinion superior) bevel. Now the new Polycarbonate Precision Premium in transparent blue enters the arena... and for me checks all the boxes. Now I can totally agree with their term "precision pick". Combining the size of a Jazz XL with the harder material (no flex at all) and adopting the faster bevel from the mini pick is a clear win! The original nylon picks are very very lightweight, but for me it seems less tiring playing with the polycarbonate picks. It's a perfectly balanced pick somewhere between a Jazz XL and a more fluid Flow pick. I really like Dunlop Flow picks, but they can sound pretty dull above 1,5 mm and the tip wears down pretty fast. Although the Precision Pick Premium comes with 2mm thickness, it sounds brighter with more attack than a 2mm Flow, because of the different bevel. The sharp tip lasts much longer, still the pick glides easily through the strings and works great for tremolo picking,...It's my favourite pick atm. When I want a bit more flex and dig in harder the neon yellow Tapered Pricision Pick is great too. I can control the amount of flexibilty by moving the fingers closer to the tip or playing more with the sides of the pick. Very interesting and fun, but the blue Premium pick is more effortless to play for me.
