Apaga el agua desde debajo del fregadero o en el suministro de agua principal. Afloja y retira cuidadosamente el mango.
Retira el vástago con una llave Allen o herramienta de extracción de asiento. Utiliza PartFinder para encontrar la pieza de repuesto adecuada.
Instala el vástago nuevo en el llave y aprieta con una llave.
Ahora es un gran momento para actualizar tu llave con nuevas asas. Instala las asas sobre el vástago; enciende el agua y comprueba que la fuga esté fija.

Why did I wait soooooo long to order these and replace the old ones? Why? These were perfect replacements for 50 yo faucets. Water leaks are expensive…don’t wait!

It was exactly what I wanted and was cheaper than the local box hardware stores. It was delivered next day. Easy to install. Pro tip...get the tool to unscrew them. Makes life so much easier.

Perfect!So there I was, scouring amazon and the internet for a new cold water valve for my shower. You can figure out which valve you need just by comparing your old one to pictures. But that is just where the fun begins."What size locknut? What size valve seat? Why won't the ads for your valve give you this information? GRRRRRRRR!"Then you find this. It comes with the locknut and the seat...and only costs 5 bucks more than the valve by itself. If you landed here because you are looking for everything that goes with your 2K-2C cold water valve, this is it. 2K-1C is the same valve, but it comes with the whole setup so you can stop driving yourself crazy.

This Worked well and fixed the faucet .Did not have exact feel of original, but good fit and value. Best solution to replace all corroded and worn part and a fast complete repair!!Visually just like original and knob fit exactly.

Doesn't extend out to the seat far enough. The real American Standard replacement parts are the only way to go.
