Deceptive advertising, cover is 100% cheap plastic and NOT made of metal whatsoever.

Our bath tub had old style grill on the overflow drain. I learned that our faucet was leaking down into this area and the gasket inside had started leaking so we were leaking water under house. Was able to replace gasket and stop leak. Just to be sure purchased this style of cover for overflow. It fit fine, functions great, and easy to install. Did not have to consult youtube for this one. I would say great value. Only time will tell as far as durability.

This product is very inexpensive and worked so well and a great fit for my tub. Just a side note you will need 2 more screws to attach the housing, so don’t throw the old screws away when removing old one.

It is NOT metal construction, it is PLASTIC!
