Worked good as a rapid charger. Dewalt tools frequently come with chargers that are unbelievably slow. This is a good replacement option for those.

This review is for "DCB118 Rapid Charge for Dewalt Battery, Replace for DeWalt 20V MAX and 60V MAX Rapid Charge, Compatible with All 20V MAX* and 60V MAX* DEWALT Batteries (Charger Only)".This charger FOR SURE charges faster than the standard dewalt charger. While it's not exactly cheap, this alone makes it worthwhile. Anything I can do to have more actual shop time is worth a little money. This charger doesn't appear to generate any additional heat compared to the branded one, and charges in less time. No issues with batteries fitting it. I've had no issues at all with it, nothing but love. I'd recommend this if you spend a lot of time in the shop.

I have two different type of non-OEM Dewalt batteries and this charged them both fine. On one set I was having issues with it shutting off and I thought it was the charger until I tried another type and it worked perfectly on them.It charges pretty fast and there is a pretty loud fan that comes on to keep it cool. It isn't annoying or anything, but is louder than I thought it would be.I like the indicators as I can tell the status of the battery in a glance.Overall, great way to save a little money and get a Dewalt battery charger that is a good value for the dollar.

This charger has been working well. I used it to charge an off-brand 20V MAX battery and it did so without issues. The green light flashes while charging and is solid once charged. Super simple. It works!
