These are fairly intuitive to use. Turn them on to area, line-block, or off. They work well on my 692 series.I've left the things on 24/7 and have yet to replace the batteries. I'll update later with how long it goes for.One area for improvement is installing the batteries - the spring on the cover plate likes to get twisted sideways when folding it down. I had to poke it into position with a toothpick before closing it all the way. It's minor, but something to be aware of.

I have an old iRobot Roomba 600 series in which I tested these out. So far, so good.

Both line and halo mode work with my Roomba 675. The halo mode works to about 1ft radius. Each of the "light house" takes 2 AA batteries. In total, this light house has been on for > 12 hours and it still works. When turned on, it will blink a little before the light turns off completely. The button to turn on/modes is a bit difficult to move, but it's manageable without tools if you don't have grip strength issues.

I ordered this virtual Wall Barrier Light for my Roomba iRobot S9 Series robotic vacuum cleaner. This pair of 2 virtual wall barrier lights arrived in a simple cardboard box, individually wrapped in zipper bags and sealed in a pair of small cardboard boxes. These virtual walls are made with a great deal of attention towards their aesthetics, build quality, and their ability to function as intended. These walls are made with durable plastic and acrylic. When held in hands, they feel solid, and they have a very fancy, modern look. They’re small enough that they can be placed even in some tiny spots around the room. They remind of the bins outside the buildings with an ash tray full of sand in them to safely dispose of cigarette butts. These virtual walls are extremely simple. On the underside of each virtual wall device, there is a battery compartment. Once two AA batteries are inserted, close the battery compartment lid, and on the back side of the select the option of 10 ft. or 4 ft. length, and your virtual wall is ready.During their use, I noticed that vacuum turns away, before it gets closer to the virtual wall, so I’d recommend placing these devices a bit further away than the exact spot where you want the vacuum to reach before turning around.Overall, it is a very good product. It’s responsive and ensures your vacuum doesn’t go to areas where you think it shouldn’t go. These virtual walls can stop the vacuum from accidentally going into area in the case of liquid spill on the floor. It’s a great product for those whose vacuum model numbers are supported. I’d highly recommend these virtual wall devices.
