I bought the DWD520K because my ten year old DWD525K disappeared out of my pickup truck at a Job site. The 520K is the same thing except the Handle is at the end and not in the center. These are excellent work horse drills. You cannot run them non stop for hours on end but you can use them for a reasonable length of time before letting them cool for a bit. Kind of like my aging body :)Love the drill and it's perfect for me because I try to avoid the newer self tightening chuck heads. Those work okay for light Jobs but the Chucks fail when the Job is tough.

El rotomartillo lo compre, por que se me hace una excelente marca, más la promoción ya que lo compre a casi la mitad de su precio actual, y para trabajos pesados me ha sacado de las broncas sin problemas, yo lo recomiendo

I drilled 20 holes into stucco and solid concrete block, 2-inches deep, with a 7/16 inch drill bit for a hurricane panel. Each took about 30 to 45 seconds. Easy with this drill. It's got all of the features that you might need, including a metal motor housing, an adjustable second handle, 2 speeds (each variable), a hammer on/off setting and a depth rod. The grips are perfect. The drill is heavy and well built. The case is sturdy and well-designed. Remember to wear a mask to protect against concrete dust and eye protection just in case something goes flying.

I purchased this drill to use primarily as a hammer drill. It is, indeed an an attractive unit, and appears to be well built, but that is a deception. After drilling approximately twenty holes for half inch rebar and ten holes for tapered mounting studs the hammer function stopped working. After nearly twenty minutes of drilling with a variety of 1/2” masonry bits it barely penetrated two inches in a concrete slab. The accessory handle is impossible to use in the hammer mode-it vibrates off almost immediately. What you are left with is a very nice looking drill properly suited for drilling wood and softer materials. If you want a real hammer unit, do what I just did-suck it up and order a Bosch.

Sencillamente muy potente, pesado como deve de ser la herramienta de hombre, este no es para aficionados, llego en su estuche

Great drill - 1200 watts thats power to spare and results in effortless drilling.Variable speed, 2 gears, Hammer Drill function.I did read somewhere that some people had problems with the drill bit slipping because the chuck becomes loose when using the hammer drill function. My response to that is to tighten the chuck with chuck key in each of the 3 holes. I drilled 3 seperate holes each 20mm hole through approx 7 inches of granite using the hammer drill and an irwin joran drill bit, no problems not once did it loosen up.I bought it for use in Australia so being that it's a 110v drill I hooked it up to my 2000w 240V > 110v step down transformer. Australia runs at 50 cycles while the US runs at 60 cycles doing the math I dropped about 60w of power not much of a price to pay with that much raw grunt. Some may find it a bit on the weighty side, but I don't think it is.It's a quality bit of kit, and I'm already looking at a DeWalt cordless for those lighter jobs when I need a cordless screwdriver.Great purchase at half the price I pay in Aus for the same item.
