Inexpensive pack of discs in rare grit ratings. If you need something for epoxy resin, fancy woodworking finishes, clear coat (etc), this is one of a few kits that gives you 2000+ wet/dry discs.The backing is very very flexible, almost like a fabric. The loop surface gives good purchase on the hook pad of my orbital. The abrasive side is quite uniform and super smooth as soon as you get to 5000+.I need to run these before giving a proper review.

I am an amateur lapidarist and use these polishing pads to face polish rocks that I collect and cut. I have a flat lap that I run a multitude of polishing and grinding tools and these 5 in pads are actually perfect for wet grinding rocks of various sizes. I use these for fine polishing beyond the 600 grit Diamond plates, as it takes down the scratches in a much easier way without create more scratches as hard discs do. The 10,000 grit pad leaves a very nice polish that I follow with wool and 15,000 grit paste.Overall, this is an economical set of polishing discs that aren’t just relegated to sanders. They are definitely good for flat lap work and I wholeheartedly recommend!
