This is a Frisbee, not a Disc Golf Disc. Thought it should be mentioned somewhere so someone else doesn't make the same mistake I did.

Design is cute, and has a lovely matallic sheen. Disc flies nicely. Surface is SMOOTH!

What an awesome disc! I bought two of these this year as Christmas gifts: same brand, Discraft, but different designs. Both are absolutely phenomenal. I'll keep my review to this design: The narwhal.First off, if you're shopping for a narwhal disc, you're already amazing. There are so many patterns and designs to choose from, and this one just spoke to me as something my six-year-old son and I would enjoy the heck out of. I was right. The colors are spectacular, the design is outrageously adorable, and the disc itself is the absolute bomb.I purchased this (these) after we lost a cheap, promotional "disc" in our storm drain. It was a one in a million shot that went out of control and down it went. This weighted disc seems to be able to read your mind: it goes right where intended, which is NOT down the storm drain! In my book, Discraft is the best-weighted and best flying disc you can get. At this price point, it only makes sense to get more than one style! We've been playing in the front yard but I cannot wait to take this thing to the beach this summer!Errrr, I mean, MY SON can't...since it's his gift and all. ;-)Bottom line? Buying a Discraft is a no-brainer: do it. And if you buy one for someone else, it's like you're getting a gift yourself because it takes two to play. Win-win! The hardest part is going to be choosing the design: my vote goes to the narwhal, but your mileage may vary. See you at the beach!
