This pants was quite soft with a relaxed fit. I usually don't like the hardness of a jeans so I opted for this one. If you're looking for a tighter fit on the legs go one size down once you're sure the waist won't be an issue. Im 6ft 1inch and I got the 50W x 32LUpdate: Also got the 48W x 32L and it fit much better.

These are a high quality made pant. But the length was beyond the 29" I ordered and the color was darker than the photo, more close to a ginger color than the lighter photo. I have been finding a bit too often that clothes are coming not as I ordered, particularly the color. Recently ordered Amazon Essential vest that was to be a heather gray but came a muche darker grey. Gets old fast.

Holy tapered leg, Batman! Remember pinch-rolling (or safety pinning) jeans back in the late 80’s / early 90’s? These come pre-pinched. They are quite comfortable & roomy in the waist, seat, and thighs but then narrow at the cuff to just wide enough to get your feet through. It’s like classic chinos from waist to knee and skinny jeans (ugh) from knees down. Not the ideal look for an already fat guy (6’5”, 300lbs). Inseam is a bit short too.
