La première machine est arrivée brisée. J’en ai commandé une autre en remplacement et celle-ci est parfaite! J’ai trouvé une recette de beignes à la muscade cuits au four sur internet. La première fois, ça a donné des beignes un peu plats. La deuxième fois, j’ai presque doublé la quantité de poudre à pâte dans le mélange et ils ont bien gonflé. Durée de la cuisson environ 4 1/2 minutes pour moi. Pour les premiers beignes, j’ajoute un tout petit peu de beurre sur le moule, mais je n’en mets plus ensuite et rien ne colle. Je recommande cette machine.

This donut maker is well made and looks great. It has a slim design that doesn’t take up much space in the cupboard or on the countertop. The donut making plates heat up quickly and the lights on the donut maker make it easy to tell at a glance when the appliance it heated up and ready to use. The non-stick plates work extremely well and we had no issues at all with donuts sticking and they were all easy to remove from the cooker. The silicone brush that comes with the cooker is a one piece brush that does a great job of quickly greasing the donut recesses to help with the cooking process and non stick properties of the cooker. If you are following a recipe from the internet (like we did) you may want to cut your suggested cooking time in half because this donut maker cooks the donut from both sides at once so there is no need to flip the donuts. We found that checking them after the suggested cooking time was half done was usually sufficient to have the donuts cooked to perfection. A great way to make a quick and easy treat. Fun product.

We got great donuts our first try. We will try different mixes, but the machine works fine.

I used this after reading the reviews and I saw people writing that they come out thinner. So what I did was make the dough a little but thick and I added a very thick layer so that it fills completely when you close the top lid. It works just like a sandwich machine. I added sugar to my dough and then added caramel from smuckers on top and let it settle. Honestly, they tasted better than what you can get outside. The only trick is to have the perfect dough consistency and to add sugar to the dough.

The old one like this that you could get many many years ago, had a recipe book I would’ve liked that, but the machine works great
