Everyone once in a while, you hit upon a really excellent product. This is one of those.It is a PERFECT fit for my 2012 Chevy Avalanche. The reason I need to order this? Because the OEM - the part that comes with the truck - is made up of several white plastic "rails". That's it. A bunch of plastic inside an armrest that is also used to close the door!This Dorman replacement part far exceeds the Chevy part. There is no comparison. Dorman is like it should be - the Chey part is joke.In future, when looking for other replacement parts - and I'm sure there will be! - I will look for name brand Dorman first. It just makes sense...

Fantastic product. Perfect fit and color, at least the black model. Relatively easy install, just take your time when drilling out.

This replacement armrest fixes the terrible Chevy design. So much stronger and was easy to install once you have the old plastic rivets and armrest removed. I used 1/4 drill to drill the dozen spots on the back side of the door panel. Then I needed to get a screw driver to gently pry the old plastic rivets out at each hole only. The old plastic rivet tops popped right off. Was very easy to remove and new armrest fit perfectly on the door panel.It comes with 2 larger nuts to mount on the metal door plate in the center. I took a picture and circled in red. Take your time and clean the holes to get clean fit. Hardest part was just removing everything off the door to even begin the armrest removal.DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN NEW ARMREST!! I tightened the 2 larger nuts first. Then work your way around each section of the armrest to get even tightness and you'll have to do this a few times on each end to get them snug. SNUG is the word so use a hand racket and you'll feel them snug down, then stop.This was a perfect fit for my 2013 Chevy Avalanche and very happy with the end results. Spent an hour from start to finish and well worth the time.

This product was God sent. I searched everywhere for this handle I have two 2013 suburbans and it was easy to install. It doesn't fit as tight as the factor handle but you can't even tell it's an aftermarket. I give it 5 out of 5 stars 🌟 the install was effortless and it had all the right pieces to put it together.You'll need a 5/16" drill bit and 8mm socket to mount it on the door panel.
