Se escucha con excelente claridad y calidez. Se distingue con facilidad los distintos instrumentos en cada melodía. Altamente recomendable para darle un plus a tu tornaimesa. Lo conecté a un Onkyo TX8220 para la señal de un tornamesa Sony PS-LX100 con extraordinarios resultados. 100% calidad por el precio. Es un pequeño gigante...Agregado. Este pequeño Preamplificador cuenta con la opción de conectar mediante un plus 3.5 mm una entrada auxiliar con preferencia a la salida del tornamesa. Esta opción permite modular y darle calidez al sonido que conectes... El sonido sale a un volumen equilibrado el resto le corresponde al amplificador que conectes...

No lo recomiendo si buscan intercambiar tubos, usa un tamaño muy pequeño difícil de conseguir refacciones o variantes de tubos

Ya cambie todos mis cables pensando en algún defecto de ellos y no. Solo sirve para conectarlo en la PC con tus audífonos. Ojo, No he probado conectar a través de el 3.5 de mi tornamesa a 3.5 del aux, cuándo lo haga edito este comentario. Seria una solución para los que tenemos tornamesas con salidas de jack 3.5mm.

Es una pieza pequeña y funcional. Su look retro es lo que me gusto. El uso de un bulbo permite suavizar el sonido de los discos y le da un color diferente vs. CD's. Por el precio, no esperen un sonido high-end; no obstante es razonablemente aceptable. Tiene un control de volumen que permite regular la salida. Es de fácil conexión. Se puede utilizar tanto con las tornamesas que tienen la salida para Phono-Only, como las que permiten ajustar a Auxiliar o Phono. Muy recomendable si se encuentran en espacios pequeños.

I’ve been collecting records for almost twenty years and using varying degrees of audio set ups, with nothing that ever blew me away completely (other than the first time I replaced a stock Audio Technica cartridge with a Shure M97x), since I usually just purchased cheap equipment that allowed me to simply play with the distinct sound of vinyl. After recently acquiring a Fluance record player (RT82), a pair of beyerdynamic headphones (DT 770 Pro - 250 ohms) and a set of Klipsch bookshelf speakers, my next mission was to dip my toes into the realm of the vacuum tube sound. The headphones were the main reason I was looking for a headphone amp, since I was unsure that my Sony DH190 2.0 phono receiver would be able to drive them properly (it does), and so I then almost purchased a Schiit headphone amp; I kept browsing Amazon to see if anything else caught my eye (and was cheaper) before buying that.Ultimately, I decided to try this little guy first at half the price and hear for myself if it would be worth it to further travel down this vacuum tube glowy path. It has good looks, good reviews and an even more attractive price point, but I obviously wasn't sure if it would be worth it just to hear a difference (if any). My expectations were at the ceiling for this thing, since I read so many people praising it and the excellent sound it processes... Man, you really don’t know what you were missing until those little tubes warm up, plug in your headphones and play your favorite song. That one piece of music you’ve heard a million times before and listen in it, for the first time ever, a wave of detail, preciseness and clarity. That moment was awesome, perfect and brought excitement back to my record collecting. It's almost as if the tubes bring out that detail and fill in the blanks of whatever was missing in voices and instrumentation due to equipment. Is it a placebo effect? Maybe, but it felt so good that it made me spent a few hours listening to different records and it also brought me here to write this review.To say that it blew my mind is an understatement. Fair warning that this review is coming from a budget conscious audiophile that is always trying to find the best bang for my buck, so it’s obvious that there are probably thousands of better (and more expensive) audio listening configurations. I feel that if you're in a similar situation, this is an absolute must (small) investment to your record playing experience. It immediately felt like it was the missing piece to my set up and I am hoping that the beautiful exterior quality build matches the inside and that it will allow me to enjoy it for some years at least. Every component in the preamp feels sturdy, high quality and that it was made to make it better and produce higher quality audio. I was also able to connect my Sony receiver to it and the sound coming out of the speakers sounds unbelievable as well. The only knock down I have for it is that the tubes are a bit hard to install and to remove, it always feels like they are a squeeze away from breaking, but that really has nothing to do with the amp and more generalized vacuum tube issues.In all, I probably would have been fine if I had never purchased this, but I am so glad I did, because now it feels like it's an essential part of my record playing experience. I wonder how I went so many years without something like this. It seems that Douk is doing something special with audio equipment for the budget minded and I am glad that they are doing an awesome job at it.

To be honest, my expectations were pretty low. I wasn't expecting much for the price, but I believe it's worth it. The sound is very clear and clean. I was amazed by this product. Now, I can enjoy my records in my office using my headphones without disturbing other people in my house. It's totally recommended.

We recently decided to pull our fancy LP turntable out of storage after 30 years sitting idle. We got caught up with the recent interest of LP albums and it sparked a strong interest within ourselves. I had previously given away all my receivers, amplifiers, and speakers away. I decided to keep the turntable and realized in 2023. I needed a quick refresher course on what I needed to play LPs with what I currently have. I was against purchasing a receiver or powered speakers. I have a Bose IV Soundtouch System and a Sony Soundbar.Lesson 1 - Get a Preamp! I did an exhaustive review of entry and mid-level preamps. I set my limit at $100 and this Douk Audio T4 Plus Vacuum Tube Phono preamplifier was the Chosen One! It looks amazing with the needle movements and soft casting amber lights. The red volume control knob is a nice contrast and feels amazing as you dial it with your fingers. The two vacuum tubes included were a bonus and happy it still fell into my budget.Hooking this between my Denon DP-71l turntable and the Bose Soundsystem was very straightforward. Just need to plug in the RCAs and ground to the Phono In - Douk T4. And then Line Out RCAs to a 3.5mm plug inside the Bose. Once I had the settings set on the Bose, put the needle onto the track and enjoy!What I immediately noticed is the volume is low. I cranked up the volume knob on the preamp to the max and then raised the volume on the Bose. I am not sure if that is how it should be but it works in the meantime. I did notice the music sounding better after 30 minutes or so since the tubes needed that timeframe to assimilate all the signals for deeper and warmer tones.I am also ecstatic the preamp has its own power on/off setting. This Doul Audio T4 looks stylish and classy right alongside the rose wood of my turntable.Definitely happy we jumped back to listening to our LPs with a little help of this preamp.5 Stars!One issue - I also received the preamp in an unsealed box. So weird. At least nothing fell out and all seems to be in order. Have a great one to you all!

As at least one other reviewer has noted, the box came UNSEALED. No tape, no gray bag, nothing. I verified I received all the arts that I was supposed to (preamp, DC supply, audio cable, 2 tubes, manual). However, the DC supply had a European plug (round pegs), not at all what we use in North America. I happen to have a stash of wall warts that matched the requirements of the preamp, so I was lucky.As for the sound, well I'm using it to digitize old 78 RPM records direct from a phono cartridge. So for me, it sounded fine. Plenty of headroom, no audio distortion. VU meter worked fine, although one meter for a stereo preamp is a little weird, but the purpose seems to be little more than eye candy.I am using the tubes that came with the preamp, but I may try other types of tubes to see if it really makes any difference.Physical construction is very good, feels solid. One small plus is the cartridge ground screw is the kind with a very small hole that accepts a 22 AWG stranded wire typical of the ground wires that come with most turntables. So it's not just a screw that is hard to get the wire to stay on.Overall I think this is a good value for the money. Just wish the vendor would seal the box before shipping, and provide the correct type wall wart (DC supply). Thanks for reading.

Al conectarlo mete mucho ruido o zumbido, aún con la tierra conectar . No me sirvió pq se oyen peor los LP

This came well packaged with the preamp, 2 NOS tubes, power adapter and cord, and audio input Y-cable.The 2-prong power adapter is 90 degrees for outlet clearance and the cord is long for good placement. A gold plated Y-cable is included for plugging the stereo RCA connector into the mini-jack "Aux In" port in the back. Plugging this cable in automatically disables the phono input. This can be annoying if you need to switch between the two sources but I am only using this preamp for my turntable so the Phono input is all i will need.The casing is all metal and extremely well made. The control knob on the front is all aluminum and machined with a knurl. The color is a gorgeous industrial grey with a great contrasting red knob with machined accents. The knob is very smooth with a nice click for on/off. The bottom of the case is smooth and could use some silicone pads to help with sliding and vibration isolation.The VU meter is bright and beautiful to watch with a crystal clear lens and adjustable sensitivity to get just the right amount of bounce. The color matches the tubes perfectly.Comes with 2 NOS GE 5654W tubes. These were clean, with good contacts and inserted into the sockets easily. Others have already rolled these tubes with other tubes and heard a difference in sound so they are functional and not just show. I switch to Siemens or Telefunken 6AK5s for some more high-end and a larger soundstage.i have paired this with my Ortofon 2M Blue so I set the jumpers to MM. but this preamp gives me the option to upgrade to a better MC cartridge in the future and custom set the resistance Ohm load.Overall a very nice tube preamp if you are looking for a warm tube sound with retro looks and adjustable MC settings. Plus a really cool VU meter.

Si bien mi amplificador Yamaha AS301 cuenta con entrada de Phono está no tiene mucha potencia como tal, al hacer una ligera prueba con otro que tengo de tubos igual GE5654 note cambio en lo dulce que generan los tubos en si, pero metía un zumbido, pedí este y hoy me llegó de inmediato la tierra en una tornamesa Project con cápsula orotofon elevó el sonido en más de un 50% obvio a esperar los bulbos aflojen para que tome su paso, mientras la desesperación por oír un par de vinilos le cambié los que ya tenia del otro pre, gual con tubos GE5654, pero la construcción se nota y no puede ser cualquier pre-amplificador de Phono el potenciómetro ni fue necesario levantarlo arriba de un curto cuando ya dió el empuje necesario para no distorsionar.Vale la pena por mucho cada peso, construcción de calidad.Excelente!Actualización, confirmo un wow excepcional el escuchar la música con la ayuda de un pre-amplificador de bulbos o tubos, ya aflojados sacándole la riqueza a los vinilos, si bien con mi equipo en los formatos digitales había llegado ya a un nivel de detalle bastante destacado y todo ese equipo era para intentar llegar a lo que de supone que se deriva de un vinilo pues ahora con esto obvio quiero escuchar eso mismo derivado del vinilo de manera directa y que si bien los aditamentos vaya que ayudan como el clamp o la pesa que está en controversia si aporta o no, pues en mi tornamesa esencial III de project si es perceptible y hasta por el oído de una mujer que tienden a ser bastante transparente para el audio y video, pues lo se notó, y también con un cepillo antiestático, y estoy por hacer experimentos con la base de acrílico en reseñas dicen que ayuda en comparación con el de lana que trae, la inversión en los accesorios para tornamesa bien lo valen y vaya que ayudan al sonido que tanto se persigue en este mundo del audio y ciertamente creo que puede ser menor la inversión en una buena tornamesa y buen amplificador que toda una flota de equipo electrónico para intentar escuchar lo más fiel la música y más viniendo de un vinilo.Les recomiendo esta inversión buen lo vale, y como todo en este mundo la incursión no acaba.Y pasado un tiempo vuelvo a comprar otro de estos pre-amplificadores, pues me di cuenta que puedo hacer híbrido cualquiera de mis dispositivos que así lo quiera conectándolo a la salida de la señal haciéndo pasarla por los bulbos y de ahí ahora sí al amplificador, todo lo cambia, le puse uno al CD, y este otro que estoy comprando va a ir conectado a mi Cassete Deck MARANTZ bien lo vale vaya que levanta señales y saca lo plano de la música que hasta hace poco estaba acostumbrado a escuchar.!. Veo que es la manera económica de hacerme de equipo híbrido, un lector de CD híbrido el más económico de marca nunca antes escuchada ronda los 25,000 y de ahí para arriba por este precio ni pensarlo.

Creo que si tuviera potenciometros para agudos y graves luciría mejor y una entrada de fibra óptica para hometheater
