I inherited some antique wool rugs that came with an added "bonus". Clothes moths! I must not have been paying attention because it wasn't until I found 2 pairs of wool socks in tatters that I realized I had a clothes moth problem. I got these traps about a month ago and have set them up in several areas of the house. Within a few hours I noticed we had our first kill. Over the past month, I have noticed that while we still have some of these rotten guys flying around, my traps are getting covered in clothes moths. I've ordered some more in order to blanket my house for a couple of months. They aren't the cheapest, but I'd rather pay more for something that works and doesn't smell like mothballs. The traps do need to be put together, and I have no problems with that, although my husband can't put them back together if he opens one up. I love that when the traps are full, I can just throw the trap away and replace it with a new one.

As long as you’re sure they’re actually clothing moths, these will catch them! I found that they were more effective when I’d figured out the main place the moths were living, cleaned the stuff in there, and put traps around. Because then they were all disrupted and looking for a new home. The traps I put in other areas haven’t caught anything, but given that some are effective I take that to mean there just aren’t moths there.My one issue is that they don't stay together as a neat little triangle very well—they come apart. So if you want it to stay together, like for hanging in the closet, you may need to tape it at the top. But I find that’s a minor issue.

I set out around 10 of these as a precaution, because I always get moths this time of year. After a few weeks they haven't caught a single moth, so I thought maybe my moth problem was gone. Nope, in the past few days I've seen around 3-4 moths fluttering around and the traps are all still empty.I haven't found a moth trap brand that's been amazing, but these seem to be the least effective of the ones I've tried so far. I'll give them more time and update my review if anything improves, but definitely wish I spent my money on a different brand.

These are strong, probably the best I've used. As soon as I peel the plastic off the glue, a swarm of the little buggers come out of hiding and I start catching them within a few minutes.I live in a large apartment building and there's a building-wide infestation, so this has been a losing battle. I'm researching the parasitic moth that supposedly kills the larva. In the meantime these traps should help keep the population down.
