Used this to drill three holes in a 1" thick granite countertop. It cut much faster than I expected. Was able to do all three holes in about 10 minutes. I used the bit dry, in an angle grinder. The images shown are after drilling the three holes, and the diamond shows absolutely no visible wear. It works very well, and is great value for the price.

This saw has threads compatible with my Dewalt angle grinder which made it possible to cut the corners for a larger drop-in sink in our kitchen counter. Since I couldn't find a granite company who would do it professionally with polish edges for an under-counter sink (no one would accept the responsibility), this tool saved me $thousands in replacing the whole slab.

This hole saw tears thru concrete like it was butter but its important to know that it has to be attached ( screwed onto) a surface grinder, it works best with the higher speed

Hole saws works extremely well. The only reason I didn't give this a 5 star rating is because holes saw without a centering pilot are more challenging to get accurate hole placement. but if accuracy is not an issue then definitely 5 star.BTW if you need to be accurate in your hole placement, recommend getting a 1/2 to 3/4" thick piece of sheet goods and drill a hole of the same size in the wood with a wood holesaw first.Then place that hole exactly where you want the diamond saw hole to be placed. Have someone securely hold the sheet goods so you can insert and start drilling with the diamond bit, getting the hole started. Once it's started, you can remove the wood and continue with the diamond saw.I've used this technique many times in years past with perfect results.
