I was about to start my Maytag dryer, and the whole button/handle popped off. It literally broke, so it was unusable. We ordered this part, and in just a couple of days, we received it. My husband installed it in less than 10 minutes, and we were back to drying our laundry. Great experience with this part!

So, installation was easy, and this works perfectly well. It seems to be made of similar materials as the original. That's not entirely a good thing -- the plastic piece around the metal shaft broke for me, forcing a replacement of the whole piece, even though the electronics all still work. Hopefully this one lasts.

It was not an exact replacement number but it looks identical to what I have. I have a maytag and this was the only one that would arrive fast around the holidays. Just hoped it was a similar enough to work. This time, it worked. Saved the day!

Our timer had snapped off from knob on maytag bravos dryer. Replacement part arrived early next day, was easy to replace, and works perfectly like original. They are all made of plastic so it's as good as it gets unfortunately.
