DW has been, in the past, considered top quality. This, my last, DW purchase, was the nail in the coffin. The clutch, now with plastic fasteners instead of metal, was not aligned for the spring rod. I needed the stand urgently so did not have the luxury of waiting for a replacement. I had to drill out the hole to accommodate the rod. DW may be saving a nickel but losing customers. Sad.

I am a semi professional musician and purchased this for my practice kit. Although not as beefy as other models, this performs quite well. Im pleased with this stand. Highly recommend.

It has all of the features needed. The only issue is if you are looking to lighten your load this will not help - it is a heavy duty piece of equipment. It will of course take years of use and travel.
