I can’t afford squat shoes right now so these squat wedges are an excellent alternative. The Wedges are easy to use just step into them and strap them up. They work well giving you excellent balance when squatting. The Wedges are very sturdy with good traction, you always feel sure footed in them, for the price they’re a great buy.

These aren't perfect but they are way cheaper than squat shoes and much better than just tennis shoes. I have a pair of Xero shoes I use these with and they work well together. If you lift in a dusty space you will not see as much grip, but I assume that is true with any pair of shoes. They fit really well to my shoes and they have moderate slip resistance. I notice better stability and this seems to cure my butt wink when squatting low.If you haven't gone to full depth these can really help if you have bad ankle mobility. But prepare for a new level of quad soreness. It's insane.

This actually works really well and I am surprised by it! It's comfortable when squatting and the size is perfect for me which I wear a 9.5-10 shoe size. This doesn't hinder my mobility if I just needed to walk around and it's durable with no issues of breaking. I recommend if you are interested.

Easy to use. Good price point, try these before you commit to squat shoes. I’ve used regular squat shoes for years and definitely prefer these. It’s good if you have funky feet and funky femurs. They’re not heavy and clunky compared to squat shoes. I really love them because I can wear my Converse in them and walk around the gym without looking like a dork.Reason holding it back from being 5 stars:1. The heel is a little short compared to conventional squat shoes. However, the height is noted in the product description.2. You might slide on the wedge a little bit the closer you get to the recommended weight limit. Almost like the Velcro is giving out a little. It’s not sliding in a dangerous way, but you might need to adjust the velcro and your foot placement on the wedge between sets.
