I bought my daughter an entire Jen Schro set a couple years ago for her birthday. After about a year, the shin guards were very worn and had holes in the connection pieces. She plays softball year round and is very hard on her gear. She is also hyper mobile and these guards help keep her knees stabilized while catching. I bought these to replace her existing pair and she still loves them. For reference, my daughter is 5’4”, 160 lbs, and the adult large fits her great!

Shin guards have come along way since I was a catcher. Wonderful fit, loads of padding and adjustability - loved the purple color - helps my catchers stand out. Held up well this season and should for many more. See this brand as my go to as my girls get older and continue playing and I continue coaching. Price was great and shipping was very fast.

My daughter feels like she hit the lottery with her new gear. She’s had the same gear for 10 years. She LOVES the knee padding it has and how it’s so much easier for her to slide to get the ball. The straps behind the knees are comfy. My daughter is 5’5 and it fits her well. Worth it.

My daughter loves these. Her knees are always hurting. She loves the padding inside.

These legs are pretty good, but there are only a couple of things that bother me. For reference, I am comparing these to the Shutt Catching legs, which I have used for 5 years (yikes, about the time I got new gear). The padding on the knees is nice as it has extra padding on the sides for when you drop down to block. Way better than the gel pads in the Shutt ones, as the gel soon broke and fell out of the legs. The knees are less bendy since they have rubber connecting the shin and knee, but I haven't had too much of an issue. The only big downside is the gear tends to untighten, as all catching gear does. I would suggest these if you are getting serious about catching!
