Works Great. Got it for Switch Lite Copper Shim to improve heat transfer from some components to the heatsink.

There are so many sizes but somehow not so many pieces in certain sizes. Although I'm partly to blame since I didn't know which to use, ended up randomly picking here and there and slapped them on my MSI Katana A15 AI with R7 8845HS and RTX 4070.I didn't closely monitor temp of this laptop before, but after applying these copper squares, the GPU, RTX 4070, reach about 65~66 degree celsius when it's pulling 65W while the fan not working quite as hard as before (not quiet completely, mind you).Due to 'MSI AI Engine', when playing certain games it will automatically switch to a power mode of sort, increase available power to the GPU up to 105W~110W. When this happening, the GPU temp reaching about 75 degree celsius and that's about it.I'll have to wait and see the temp during summer how well it will perform. Currently it's still cold in my area where the weather is about 13 degree celsius, and I don't have heater in my room XD.

good heat absorber but you still need a fan to cool it down. this is way better compare to thermal pads.

This HP gaming laptop caught my attention that was being returned by customers many times in Microcenter. Originally cost $2500 with Intel gen 12 i7 and GTX 3070TI.I bought it @$1800 through a discount from Microcenter. My first impression was the overheating. CPU 118 and GPU 126. Ran Cinebench and 3DMark were the scores showed thermal throttling temperature resulting in specs with underperforming results.After upgrading this laptop with the heatsink copper tabs, not only dropped CPU and GPU temperatures by a minimum of 28 degrees Celsius, but also outperform every test with even systems that had much better hardware than this one. ie. Cinebench showed passed 15.5k when originally was 8.7k. 3DMark scores went from 7.9k to 12.2k. They made a huge difference. Take your time, is well worth it, a $20 made $1000 result upgrade
