Very nicely made with quality materials, easy assembly and a caring atitude toward customers that comes through in everything from packaging to assembly instructions. Highly recommended.

The bench looked beautiful for the first 9-10 months. After that the wood started developing a film on it that I cleaned every week. I oiled it like I do all of the wood in my historic home… still it faded and turned black around the cracks between the boards. So it lasted almost a year… the second year it collapsed when my husband sat on it. He is 270 pounds and 6 foot 3 inches, so I really didn’t blame the manufacturer. I was just glad he was ok. After it broke I was able to deep clean it, oil it again and then put it all back together. Today I finally had enough. It makes my fully restored bathroom always look dingy and unkept. So I will buy a new one and hope the 200 bucks lasts longer than 2-3 years.

I purchase two different sizes of this exact bench. We really like the look and quality of the wood. Adds a spa look to our bathroom. We also like the shelf under the long bench that we use to store rolled up towels. The adjustable feet make it easy to account for any unlevel flooring.My only complaint is that both benches had 1 very small imperfection in its oil wood finish that I had to hide by applying some teak oil.Overall, I’d recommend this item for its nice spa look and very functional as a seat.

01.9.2025 Update - I cannot believe how well this bench has held up...were creeping up on 8 years and still looks and functions like new...and this is after 2 showers a day (wife and I) or more!! Trying to go back and update some of my other reviews but this one is easy. Great item that worth and value has far exceeded the price. Hat's off to you EcoDecors!!Almost 3-year update- someone voted my initial review as helpful so I thought I’d give an update.I’m still very impressed with the bench. It has held up so well despite daily use, possible abuse during (wife shaving legs, me sitting in the water after a long day, shower Olympics and whatnot) and is still by far one of the best values I’ve had.Would still by again however I doubt it will be to replace this because it has held up so well.Ordered this bench for our new shower based on other reviews. This thing has been awesome from the first opening of the package to nearly a month later with daily (sometimes multiple daily) use and I expect, because of the quality, for many years to come.Packaged really well with each individual piece wrapped in styrofoam sheets and an excellent set of detailed instructions. Took about 5 minutes to assemble.This is very high-quality Teak and very, very sturdy. The wood and the finish are such that water just rolls off of it.If i ever have the need, I will definitely look to DecoTeak again!
