My 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee had 187K miles on it so I decided to change out the fuel filter while I was replacing other major items. The old filter was not giving any problems. This new filter looked exactly like my old filter and it came with three new clamps. After watching videos, it was evident that removing the three gas lines was very tricky because of the plastic compression clamps. I finally got my old filter removed and I noticed one of the new clamps looked totally different from my old clamp. I went ahead and installed the new filter with the different looking clamp and it installed OK with no leaks. This filter has a pressure regulator built into it and previous reviews indicated cold cranking problems after installation. I experienced none of these problems thus far - cranks instantly every time. I am very pleased with this product.

Excellent product at a great price. My vehicle RPMs were a little lower than what it was supposed to be. I changed the throttle sensor, air flow sensor, and the manifold pressure sensor. It only improved slightly, but was still not at the correct RPMs. So i changed the fuel filter, and my problem was resolved. All though i didn't have an engine code calling for it to be changed. I did some research, and found that this fuel filter has a fuel pressure regulator built inside of it. And that seem to have been part of the problem. I also cut open the old filter, to find that the filter element was partly plugged and discolored. Thanks for selling such a great product. : )
