So my plan before I got this set of speakers was too hook them up too a Sony dvd player.I bought a cheap used Sony dvd player and wanted to make sure it had a digital coaxial output on the back so I could hook up an external DAC and use it as a cd transport too the speakers.Once I took these speakers out of the box I found they were smaller then I originally thought they would be but I love the size.When I hooked them up to my dvd player first cd I put in was Ozzy osbourne No more tears because I knew the production on that album is flawless,and when that first track kicked in I was blown away by how good these speakers really are,great clarity,great Soundstage and the bass on them is not super thumpy it's just a perfect balance which even when it comes to heavier music like Megadeth,Metallica having the bass turned all the way up just makes it sound better.Point of my big story here is I don't even think I'm gonna need an External dac now these speakers really took me by surprise at how good they are.There really great I'm super happy with the purchase and you will be too,go get em.

Tenía tiempo buscando bocinas que no vengan de fabrica ya ecualizadas, que se identificara bien los instrumentos, las voces. estereofónicas y estas son las correctas. Excelente calidad de materiales y de sonido.

Se escucha súper bien para espacios pequeños o medianos si los desean para un espacio grande halo mejor no ese escuché tan fuerte yo lo tengo conectado a mi tocadiscos y una Alexa y de las dos formas se escucha muy bien

Son monitores que cumplen con su función.No son TOP calidad, pero por el precio, no da un mal sonido.La calidad de fabricación es buena. Un poco frágil con los volúmenes altos. Recomiendo no darles mucha caña si quieres conservar sus agudos.Si buscas monitores de referencia para producir, tal vez sería un buen comienzo con poco capital.PERO por el contrario, si buscas monitores de referencia para mezlcar, entonces no te los recomiendo, mucho menos para masterizar.

I just hooked these R980T's up and played Benassi - Love is Gonna Save Us which I find to my ears a good test for bass and overall responsiveness and these speakers (for the money) are a fantastic value. I bought these as a replacement for a pair of Creative Gigaworks T20's (the left speaker was DOA). What are the points of the comparison between those two speakers? Well, they worked right out of the box, so that's one for the Edifiers. They are substantially heavier and made with real wood versus plastic for the T20's. They are substantially wider and deeper which probably explains some of the weight. They sound incredible for $100 speakers ($Cdn) it's almost hard to believe they are that cheap. Pretty good highs and mids and the bass is only ok, but together they sound very pleasant to the ears. I have some very nice atmos speakers for a home entertainment system along with a high-end sub that provides a sort of auditory-ecstasy, and of course, these speakers don't sound as good as that....but these are only $100. They do not have knobs for volume, bass, and power on the front which is a bit of a bummer for me, but I think that I will get used to using the computer volume control. I would recommend these to a friend in a heartbeat, in particular for a bedroom or even a small living room as they can fill a decent sized room with sound. They are super impressive bookshelf speakers. If you have $100Cdn (or much less in $US) then can't go wrong with these.

Exelente producto, satisfecho con los bajos que otorga, suficiente potencia para una sala de estarMe gustó mucho!!!! ya llevo un año y medio con los altavoces y sigen funcionando muy bien.acutalizacion(2022): Exelente producto, llevo ya casi tres años con ellos y siguen funcionando genial. A pesar de ser de la gama baja suenan increíble vale la pena si es que estas buscando tus primeros altavoces en stereo 100% recomendados, edifier muy buena marca.

Bonitas bocinas que cumplen muy bien su propósito, llegaron mucho antes de lo que inicialmente indicaba, en orden y listas para el uso.Buena compra para una habitación pequeña o sala de estar.

If you're looking for a set of 2.0, no-nonsense, mid-range computer speakers with great sound, this is the set for you.If you are a 20 year CTS-I certified veteran of the A/V industry looking for a set of "monitors", you may want to re-evaluate your pricing expectations, or adopt the philosophy that the monitors you use should be similar to what your target audience will probably have... low to mid-range speakers.For everyone else, this speaker will very likely fit the bill. They don't come with a remote that only adds to the cost of the speaker set and will end up unused in a drawer. They sound much better than that $12 beige plastic speaker set you found at a yard sale or have had laying around since the 90s. They have a reasonable low-end even though they don't come with a large box containing a 6 inch "subwoofer" you have to stash somewhere while also connecting five different cables to it. The cabling is simple, with an audio cable connecting your computer to one speaker, and then standard speaker wire is connected from the first speaker to the second. There is no wall wart transformer; a standard two prong power cable comes from the first speaker and easily fits in your crowded power strip that is crammed behind your desk. The speakers are a little bigger than what you'll find in the typical Wally World or Bullseye electronics department, but the speaker cabinets provide precious resonance space necessary to give you that better low end.The only issue I've seen is that you CAN overdrive these speakers if you have the volume maxed on both your audio source and the speakers themselves. Since the volume knob is hidden on the back of the first speaker, the best thing to do is to max your audio source volume, and then adjust the speaker volume knob down from max until the distortion stops. Then, always adjust the source volume and leave the volume knob alone.I am very satisfied with this speaker set.

Acabo de recibirlas, las conecte de una forma muy sencilla. Tuve experiencia con cuatro bocinas para pc las primeras una z213, muy económicas pero con bastante buen sonido. Después proble las Arion Legacy AR506, las cuales tiene mala calidad de sonido y no puedes graduar el volumen de bajos y está configurado demasiado intenso. Probé una cyber accoustic de las cuales no me gusto la calidad de sonido y al final decidí adquirir estás, son más caras pero la calidad es muchísimo mejor, el sonido es nítido, muy buenos agudos. Excelente graves y puedes controlar el volumen de estos. Para una habitación pequeña el sonido es más que suficiente. Muy recomendados
