This will accommodate Field Notes or other similarly sized brand. The material is super flexible and the material is a strong and weather resistant oiled canvas. The zipper keeps the interior contents protected and is smooth and easy to open/close. There's plenty of storage to keep pens, cards, a USB drive, etc. with you. It is a little larger than I expected but the flexibility makes it an easy pocket carry

Durable and small enough to fit in a pocket... i use mine for land nav, and field notes using seajan stone paper notebooks, it'll hold 7 notebooks plus extra gear in the mesh pockets...

This small notebook cover/wallet is an excellent value for the price, which is so much lower than the "name brand" (which doesn't have the security of a zipper. The zipper works well, by the way.)I can fit several pens, a small Moleskine notebook (I think four could fit in here very easily), AND a small watercolor sketchbook in here, and am able to zip it up without stressing the seams.The stitching is solid, the fabric seems durable, and I think this is a cover that will only get better with age.Note that the interior pockets do not go all the way down to the bottom, but are sized for credit cards.Would be great for urban sketching, for jobsite use, or for keeping a coffee shop poetry journal. :)
