I purchased two boxes for a total of 8 settings for every day use. Great price at around $200 all in. They have a nice, heavy weight to them and I love how they are all slightly different in shape and colour/glaze. They look and feel like a set you would buy at a potter’s studio. They were packed really well and came during a cold snap, so I was concerned about cracking etc, but every piece was perfect! I put them all in the dishwasher immediately and no issues. The pictures were pre-wash, so the small white flecks are remnants of the packing material, not flaws =)The mugs are my favourite as they hold a nice big cup of coffee without needing to purchase larger ones separately! We’ve been using the dishes daily for a couple of weeks now with no issues in microwave or dishwasher. Highly recommend!

These are quite nice. As the title says, they are quite sturdy in weight and feel. The look nice and we are enjoying them, but- they have character in that no two dishes are exactly the same in shape or glazing. They are obviously the same dishware, but their minor variations give them a real sense of being handmade stoneware. If you're looking for exactly matching dishware, these aren't it. Oh yeah, they were packaged very securely for shipping.

This dish set is even more beautiful in person. I love that the plates are misshapened as if the potter spun this on a wheel and made them look this way. The color variation of the sprekles is lovely. I wanted sky blue / aqua colored plates with sturdy mugs. I asked and and received! I bought 2 sets. My husband even loved them and he's just as picky as I am. They were packed well as each set is in it's own box with foam and cardboard sheets in between each dish. I was concerned when the tiny little girl who delivered these big boxes was walking like Kung Fu from the 70's, holding a hot caldron while walking on rice paper. I heard her drop the box and cringed. Phew! Not a scratch or crack. They are just perfect! I highly recommend these!!

These dishes are spectacular! They are heavy and durable. A couple pieces were missing and/or broken from the original order, but the customer service department was very quick to respond and resolve the issues. Everything was as it should be within the week! The dishes are gorgeous and exactly what I wanted! Please note: the shapes of the pieces may vary slightly, as well as the coloring. They are not carbon copies, but look more like each piece was individually hand-crafted. Trust me, they look very much the same, but there are slight differences...just in case you are looking for cookie-cutter type dishes that must be exact replicas of one another. Truly, I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase and the outstanding customer service offered!
