Al principio resultó excelente, pero no duró mucho, las "pestañas" que realizan el enganche al portafiltro se acabaron rompiendo por el uso normal, al ser de plástico era de esperarse, tendría que haberse fabricado de aluminio. Al final mal producto

Anteriormente le había dado 4 estrellas, lo cambie a 1 estrella. Había puesto en el review anterior que el material de plástico era frágil. Efectivamente, fue tan frágil que a los 3 meses máximo las patas de plástico dieron de si y se rompieron.Ahora tengo que sostener el porta filtros y el accesorio con la mano porque ya no se puede sostener por si mismo.Mala calidad, precio elevado. Busquen una opción que sea de aluminio.

This fits perfectly on the portafilter for my Breville Barista Pro machine and it is a brilliant invention that is very well executed.In order to adequately fill the Breville portafilter, one needs to grind enough beans to make it overflow and then tamp it down. This is a messy process since you are almost guaranteed to drop some of the grinds and then you may need to repeat the process to get enough in the filter. Enter the dosing funnel... It catches all the grinds and lets you tamp them down with zero overflow and mess. You get the right dose the first time with minimum hassle.This thing looks like it was designed by the engineers at Breville rather than an aftermarket accessory. It is made of a high quality, precision molded plastic that is easy to take on and off of the portafilter. Breville should seriously consider licensing this design from the inventor and including one with every machine they ship.I love that it made in the USA too!

DEJO ESTÁ OPINIÓN DEBIDO A QUÉ ME FUE COMPLICADO ENCONTRAR LA PIEZA CORRECTA. TENGO UNA BREVILLE BARISTA TOUCH. EL ACCESORIO ESTÁ DE MUY BUENA CALIDAD, RIGIDO (NO VEO QUE SE PUEDA ROMPAR RÁPIDO) Y FUNCIONA MUY BIEN! ESTOY ENCANTADO.

Fantastic idea : saves spilling coffee grind, allow tramping again without spill.Sturdy and easy to install.Suggested improvement : the plastic portion used to start the process could be made larger, about the same size as that of the metal holder, as it is you have to occasionally wiggle the unit to trip the grinder switch.All in all: well worth the money !!

I have had an issue for years with the grinder of my Breville machine in that some of the grinds on the top of the portafilter fall into the grill when I pull the portafilter out so good luck on consistent dosage. Have to put a plate under the grinder to catch what falls and then tamp, put those coffee grind in and tamp again. Pain. This product fixes the problem by catching all the grinds which is awesome!! No more plate underneath! Breville should include with their machine to make our lives easier. My only suggestions to the designer of this 3-d printer product is (a) smooth the inside so grinds flow more easily into portafilter and (b) the small nob that presses into grinder trigger could be a few mm longer so don't have to press as hard to start grind cycle. Improvements only to a great product, let that not stop anyone from buying. Enjoy.
