I'm using these little gems everywhere and all have worked perfectly, especially since it can learn the resolution parameters to replicate.Now when turn off my monitors at night, Windows does not rearrange everything. When I get started in the morning, everything was as it was.The only observation I might touch on is that when plugged into a device, a monitor in particular, many have the button facing the monitor where I could not activate it.My solution is to get the best short extension cable available and use that to allow access to the button, then remove the extension and plug in the EDID emulator into the monitor.I don't know what the perfect solution would be... a button on the side, but then which side? Beautiful glassware of quality. I have this brand in the wine glass as well. Has a very nice weight, not flimsy or cheap. Feels elegant in your hand. Also the perfect ounce size for any type of celebratory champagne mix. So happy with my purchase! Ordered them for my SuperBowl party!

過去にHDMI切替器を使ったところ、切替器で非選択状態になったHDMIポートはパソコンもしくはHDMIアダプタ側からは液晶モニターなどの対象HDMI機器の存在を検出できなくなるため、マルチモニターの場合は切替器の選択状態に応じてシングルモニターになったりマルチモニターになったり都度切り替わるためストレスに感じていました。EDIDのキーワードにヒットするHDMI切替器を購入してみても安価なHDMI切替器では謳い文句にはあっても実際にEDID機能が搭載されていないようで半ばあきらめていたけれど、単体のEDIDエミュレータの存在を知ったため注文。この商品は、HDMI切替器で液晶モニターへ画面出力した状態で商品に付いているボタンを押すことでエミュレートモードになり、この状態だとHDMI切替器で非選択状態にしてもパソコン側からは液晶モニターが疑似的に存在しているように見え、シングルモニター・マルチモニターがHDMI切替器の状態に依存せず常にマルチモニターとして画面出力している状態を維持することが出来るようです。切替器の状態によりマルチモニター側のウィンドウが都度メインモニターに戻ってきたりサブモニター側に移ったりと言う気持ち悪い動作が改善できたため大満足。必要なHDMI切替器のポートにはこの商品を使おうと思います。

I bought 2 of these. One for a TV I'm using as a monitor that would cause Windows to move all my applications back to the Laptop screen when the TV went off due to the power saving signal sent to it by Windows. Now that doesn't happen because it thinks the EDID emulator adapter is an actual screen so Windows doesn't freak out and move all the applications back to screen 1 when things go to sleep. The second one I'm using on my Shaw-Direct Satellite receiver box and an older flat-screen TV that would lose the audio sync signal when skipping ahead in a recording. So then I'd have to turn the TV off and back on again to get the audio to come back. Now this doesn't happen. I had bought a different brand EDID Emulator adapter before this one but it wouldn't pass through the HDCP signal like it claimed it would so my Satellite Receiver wouldn't work with it and would disable the picture until it was removed, but NOT this Adapter. It passed through the HDCP no problem like it said would. Just plug these adapters into the source of your HDMI signal, and then plug the other end into the cable feeding your TV/Display. It should work in "Green" mode displayed on the LED bubble. If it doesn't press the button on the bottom to turn it to "Blue" mode on the LED bubble and it will work.

This EDID emulator was able to copy emulate the proprietary monitor resolution of 1360x768 for a Jurassic Park sit-in arcade game. I replaced the broken $2000 proprietary monitor with a $150 TCL 4k TV with this wonderful $18 EDID emulator. I tried everything else in the past with no prevail. Like an arcade VGA to HDMI upconverter board, and a Marselle Mcable to try to accept the programmed resolution and upconvert it. Nothing has worked for me for this repair until this emulator. I did have to program it using the original monitor, or compatible 1360 x 768 resolution monitor. I used the monitor from our Deadstorm Pirates game to program this EDID since the original screen had already broken beyond repair. With the new screen the game has been upgraded with better and brighter color and better resolution. The TCL 4K TV I used smoothed out the jagged pixels it used to have while running at 720p on a 55" screen. Thank you so so much!
