There were no instructions at all. How to fill, how to adjust flame? Tried filling with butane using an adapter on the cap of the butane can. I can't tell if anything is going in, it just makes hissing noises. There's no window to see how much fuel is going in. I tried lighting it and a tiny flame came out for a second and then went out, and won't light again. Will attempt to return but fair warning, this lighter looks great but does not perform.

This is a very ingenious design and has all the tools you need to keep your pipes clean.

This works. Self contained and a light trigger well placed for pipe lighting.

Some things are great, feels good in the hand, the tools are easy to open, the button for lighting is easy to push especially for someone with arthritis. The flame is nice BUT it's very tricky to get adjusted and has to be adjusted frequently. Bad stuff, very hard to adjust, fill valve leaks like a sieve. The biggest part is that the fuel reservoir is very small for the size of the lighter (if you can get it filled). It will only hold enough butane for about a day or two. I returned the first one for the above reasons, got the replacement and it worked better (filling) for about a week and started the same issues. I still use it at home but I don't take it anywhere because I can't rely on it. I wouldn't buy another one.

I was sick and tired of using a BLOWTORCH to light my pipe. I was looking for an adjustable soft flame lighter and this one fit the bill. Fits very well in your hand and is easy to light. A lot of soft flame lighters don't offer adjustable flame, this on does. Nice looking wood and usable tools. What's not to like!!!!
