I no longer smoke, but follow the scout "always be prepared" motto whenever possible. My much-loved, much-used, Zippo kept running out of fluid just through evaporation, and was dead the few occasions I needed it.I tested several lighters, including several "trench" style lighters. I bought 5 at a time, filled them, ran them, dunked them in water for 10 minutes, dried them, tested them, refilled them, and then sparked them once a day until they were dead. The second-best of these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09DK12K1Z/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 lasted just over a month between fills (37 days IIRC).This is a "pill" or "peanut" style lighter that seals completely - but has the length necessary for use without burning oneself. It was the only lighter in my testing to survive the dunking in water for 10 minutes. And while I stopped lighting it daily, I haven't refilled it since MAY (it is now September) and it still works when called upon to do so. Best EDC/Emergency refillable oil lighter IMO.Lets face it, when you fall in a creek or snow-slush while camping and need to get a fire going quickly to keep from freezing, you need a waterproof lighter. And if you're away from civilization for any length of time, you need a lighter that can be refilled with whatever oil you have on hand. And when you're not a smoker / don't use a lighter regularly, you need a lighter that is durable and sealed so as not to crack or leak in a bag or pocket. This thing does that, and looks nice doing it. It rocks.The only downside is no wind screen, but that can be fixed with use of one's hand.

Great little EDC lighter. Super simple, seals completely (little to no fuel evap), and just disappears into your pocket due to its small form factor and light weight.This isnt really a daily driver, I see it more as something that comes in handy every once in a while.

I saw someone else on the internet use this in a EDC pouch for the pocket.I don't smoke any products but it's always nice to have for melting the ends of freshly cut nylon cord, heat shrink tubing etc.I gave it three stars only because it doesn't get used on a daily basis so when I do need it it takes quite a few strikes, over a dozen to get it to light.still glad I bought it because if it's form factor and what I use it for but just can be frustrating on infrequent use to get it to light.

No instructions how to fill or put in the flint, can’t get it to work yet
