First of all, I have to say I am no expert concering the Ender MK8 hotend. I wanted to end the "hairs" and "strings" that I had so many issues with on my Ender 3 V2 printer. After reading about the shortcomings of the MK8 hotend, I determined that I wanted to make some changes. Mainly, I wanted to install a bi-metal heatbreak to see if that would help. This led to changing the hot block for the Polisi3d copper block. I also felt that I could steady temps with a better thermistor setup. That led to this product. This installs perfectly into the Polisi block. I added the Bi-Metal heatbreak from Slice Engineering to round out the build. First print I watched the print from Octoprint and the max deviation in temps was .2C .If you have watched a standard hotend temps in Octoprint, you'll recognze the rollercoaster that the MK8 shows. Every subsequent print has duplicated these temps.I am running the Mriscoc firmware on a creality 4.2.7 mainboard. The cost of these thermistors makes them a 5 star in my opinion.

The product was a perfect fit for my Ender 3V2 and cable length did not fell short either. High quality and works as intended without mentioning easy installation.

Both of these have caused thermal runaway protection to trigger periodically. After a shutdown and reboot it will then report 60C above where it was set. When they don't fail immediately there is a lot of variation in temp and sometimes thermal failures hours later. Each was PID tuned as well.

This is the only brand I found that worked with the Ender 3 V2.Many other companies sell a thermistor that say they work with Ender 3 V2 but their cable is only 1 meter long. This product is 1.2m long and while it's about 2" shorter than the factory cable it works fine because there is a little extra in the control box from the factory. Remember to use a razor blade to cut the hot glue the factory installs on the existing cable to keep it in the terminal during shipping before trying to remove the factory cable.

Went thru a few normal Thermistors, then found these and they work great. A quick PID tune and all was perfect. Plus the quick release, BONUS!
