I was pleasantly surprised. The steel frame was sufficiently robust. Machining tolerances were excellent. The pieces together perfectly. Holes aligned precisely during assembly. All of the necessary hardware was present and it was all of one consistent size. Assembly is quick and easy. In my opinion, it’s an excellent product and a good value well wort the price.

I just put it together and mounted on the wall. This is mostly first impressions:It is a decent guage steel (thicker than I expected) and the powdercoat seems pretty good. I have good confidence that this will hold up over time. The screws they give you for mounting it to a wall? Rubbish. I bent the first one, backed it out and tossed the lot. The assembly screws seem ok.I saw a review for a similiar product complaining about the number of screws and bolts. This takes 24 screws, washers and bolts to assemble. Three in each corner, front and back side. The 'wrench' they give you is stamped metal and also crap. The allen key is ok. Toss it when done. I never expect these tools to be any good.Overall, not too bad. I have some 500' spools of wire on it, and it seems study enough. One thing I would say is that if you are planning to use it for 500' spools of wire, just get one with 4 spots to use. The adjustability here doesn't seem to useful once you get something on each rod. If you are using smaller spools, then it might make sense. It looks like 1/2" EMT would subsistute for a rod just fine. One final thought:The assembly screw heads stick out the back. If you want to mount this flush to the wall, you'll either need an open wall or different screws.

We mounted this on the wall. Works great for all our 500' spools of 14AWG marine electrical wire in all the color choices!
