I placed this against the very colorful back drop. Too much colors need something simple to balance the look.Simple monotone bear with round edges goes well with very colorful straight edges. If you have something like what I have then this bear will be perfect.Simple, cute, lovely ears etc. all blend in nicely. It may not be rough child's toy since it is made out of resin but for display, it's great.

I'm bummed. This statue is so fun, but completely useless because the little guy won't stand up on his own.The Good: The design and sculpt are so cute. Simple and minimal, it would work in nurseries, kids' rooms or even your anime display shelf. It is such a basic teddy figure that he'll morph into whatever space you put him in. It is a really heavy resin. Much heavier than I expected. He's a solid, beefy teddy. Looks like he came right out of an artisan gallery.The Bad: Look at the feet. He won't even stand up on his own. The base of the statue is not flat. There is an almost rounded swelling of both feet. Clearly some kind of production error. Where were the quality control people? Being so heavy, I wouldn't trust this statue in a baby's room, even propped against a support. The massive head makes the teddy bear already top heavy...I don't need this falling onto some curious little child.For the price, you would expect a statue that can stand as advertised. Can't recommend this guy, especially if you are using it around children. Sorry, guys.
