Nice feel to this gear knob. Looked well made - nice stitching. Shame it didn't fit 2010 Mazda 6 Sport

Smaller and lighter than the original. Quite satisfied with this replacement

If you are only interested in looks, it'll be fine. But make sure you have someone strong with you, as the thread is not correct. For those wanting more feedback, the knob is slippery, compared to regular knob (regular is non slip leather, this one feels more like textured plastic and feels slippery). Stiching looks great put of the box, but after wrenching on it with both hands for 3 minutes, it already seems flaky. Absolutely NO weight, compared to OEM (about 25% as heavy as OEM, so doesn't feel great, but I have yet to drive with it). Threads are wrong or too small. I had to wrench dual handed for a few minutes. Upper body strenght and super tight hand grip is required! Would not recommend, but it might do the job, if you ONLY care about looks.

It is a decent replacement for the OEM, however, if you are concerned about appearance then check the photo and look around the numbers 4 and 6, where the clear isn't pressed on completely and there is a halo effect. Be aware you may get one that is better, or worse. The texture of the cover does match the leather boot perfectly, color too. I saved the top of the original and when this one eventually becomes unglued, I will see if I can attach the old top.
