the switch was damaged either at the manufacturing plant or was returned damaged from another customer and placed back to be sold, regardless it did not work! one spade terminal was melted half out of the switch body from being too hot! returned it for a new one we'll see if the next one is useable!

well pleased with the "compressor" switch as it matches the original switches on my RV dash mounted switches to a " T " value priced and once I cut the opening on the dash the installation was very simple. TIP, when cutting the opening in the dash, use caution if plastic and allow about a 1/16th of an inch clearance, in case you have to remove switch in the future. another caviar, amazon carries just about any "CE" switch for your vehicle [s].

Time will tell obviously so I will give my inital impressions. This feels just like the ARB factory switch that it replaced. I did really like the rubber gasket this had over my original. The switch itself feels good with a nice click on both ends (on/off). The LED lights are very nice and do not generate any heat when on. The ARB had halogen blubs which produced some heat when on. Not a big deal but as you know heat=energy. So I like the small savings here. Nice switch so far.

i like the look and the operation of the switch in my motorhome. ALTHOUGH I hooked up the switch and it on fine until I turned off the power at which time the LED quit working at the top. I thought it was just a faulty light. S0 I hooked up the bottom light bar and it too worked fine until I turned of the power to the compressor and it quit too. I can just assume that the counter emf (counter electro-motive-force) from the compressor motor generated too much electricity back to the switch and burned out the lights because the switch still works. I didn't write this review until now because I just got around to installing it and I didn't and won't order another switch because of the same possible problem. I installed a separate indicator light next to it that works just fine. I suggest the manufacturer install a resistor or diode in the light circuit to prevent the problem from happening.
