Tools are made with stainless steel.... a big plus.

While the idea is there the execution is lacking. Material seems soft and the threads cut are not cut straight making checking the threads not as easy as expected. Still debating on returning or not.

No more having to take a bolt to Lowes to find out what I need. I have used this twice in the first week since I purchased. Great addition to any toolbox for the DIY guy or gal!

Just what I needed. Easier to use than those large boards that have all sizes attached. These are top quality individual pieces that store in a custom case. The case holds them in place until you need to take one out.

These are an good option to be able to take to an car, bike, rv, toy ext. To find out what bolt or nut you need quick. beats using calipers and thread pitch gauge, Speaking as an machinist! Also don't waste money on aluminum gages they will be easy to strip, unlike these stainless steel gauges! Also they are easy to keep organized, unlike the ones on an cable. Their easy to twist on/ off. With the bonus of not having to take on and off cable! Also threads are clean and smooth!

Very cool. Kids loved it. I would recommend that the manufacturer install a disable link inline or in the bottom of the battery packs. But the kids did great wit it and love playing with it.

I'm fortunate to have a grandson with an inquisitive mind who loves discovering new things. I got this set to try and see how well he adapts to the unexpected, and I was extremely pleased. He's a six-year-old boy who seems to be attracted to the logical things more so than the emotional things. We sat down and started making simple circuits, and right away, he developed an endless string of questions that included the phrase “ what if. “ From there, we spent a couple of hours developing different circuits for the lights, diodes, and motor on three or four occasions. I was thinking about making this type of set for him over the last year or so but found that this pre-made one includes enough to spark interest in the child, and thus, it is well worth the money. For a beginner set, you get enough materials to at least spark a child's interest. The connection points along the knife switches are sturdy, and the terminals screw in tightly enough without any fear of damage or breakage in the items. The terminations on the wires are well-made, and the lamp bases work perfectly. The propeller is a little snug on the motor shaft, but for the price of the kit, you just can't be the spark that will result. I highly recommend this set for anyone who has access to a child that's four years old or older.

We found it satisfactory and a good learning resource. However, there were two issues. It came with 5 small light bulbs as shown but one of them didn't work. Also, the compass doesn't work properly. The needle doesn't point north like it should. Just the opposite in fact.
