I love being able to drink the water from the tap. No more lugging home water bottles. It was pretty easy to put together.

We just installed this about 2 days ago, and followed the instructions to a T, and also used a YouTube video as verification we did everything correctly. No problem. I will say, we have a garbage disposal that's kind of large, so we had to take some piping off the sink in order to get the water tank in an area it would fit, and then put it back together after the fact. Not too complicated, but be aware it might not fit, depending on your configuration under the sink, and level of handiness. The issue, and reason for my current 3 star rating is, I have pH test strips and this "alkaline water" is testing around a 6. I'm hoping it'll improve within a week or so, maybe more water needs to cycle through it?? I'm not sure. If it doesn't improve, I'll call the company. If it does improve, I'll update my review.

1 year update:Still working great, except for a small leak on a hose coming out of the UV lamp. The hose was routed in a way that put bending pressure on the plastic elbow, which gets UV light from inside the canister, and probably weakened the grip on the hose. I removed the hose, rerouted it, and there was plenty of material to remove a half inch or so and feed the elbow a fresh pipe end. No issues after that. The leak detection valve helped to cut water to the system, but the tank still had pressure and kept leaking. Shut off the tank valve before you unplug any hoses and you'll avoid the fresh water spring.Anytime you add any undersink water component, make sure it's sitting on a plastic tray. An inexpensive dog-dish tray typically works well.Original review below:I connected this setup to the line that goes into the fridge. It feeds from under my kitchen sink so it was an easy setup. I still needed a couple of fittings to match the output to the fridge line rather than the included faucet, and an outlet splitter to share power with dishwasher (plug also under sink).I don't notice warm water from the lamp because it goes through the fridge, and I'm saving the $60 /6 months fridge filter (installed the filter plug that comes with the fridge). Ice tastes great though it won't be crystal clear.I visited the website and watched a couple of their videos beforehand, and also realized that many manufacturers share the filter cartridges and components (the lamps have the most variables). With a little care and providing feedback, I'm sure we can find less expensive refills.

Got product from a little later than expected. Product is good. Looked at several makes before buying this.Pros:RO system is good and is working well for the past month now. I bought the 11 stage system for the minerals and the UV stage to rid of any bacteria etc. City water in central Illinois has hardness that forces us to use a water softener. Water was at 490 PPM and has dropped to 29PPM. Now the water tastes good like bottled water. Overall this system works well and I am very happy with it so far.Cons:Instruction manual is very generic and does not match the exact system purchased. Instructions could have been written methodically but seem not flow from beginning to end. When assembling its a good practice to force the plastic pipes snug until the pipe dead ends. Please use the blue snap rings on all pipes. This will prevent the pipe from slipping out in case you have to move the system around for maintenance.Pay special attention to the UV light and the canister. The glass enclosure for the UV bulb has a thread nut that needs to be tightened extra tight. I had drops of water that leaked from the threads. Luckily I had put down a think plastic trash bag that held all the water. It would be best to create a tray like shape, so any water leaks can be contained to prevent any affect to the kitchen cabinet floor board. The UV bulb itself slides in and is held by the black enclosure plastic piece.
