The lost star is because the wrist rest is just a hollow piece of plastic that is uncomfortable due to them not adding any padding. I had to replace it with a comfortable one.It uses RT 2.4 GHz wireless connectivity with a USB-A dongle and I haven't observed any problems with that.Above the top row of keys are 4 special keys: home, email, This PC and calculator (hooray!). The function keys are primarily for audio-visual functions. It has feet with 2 pairs of built in legs for a total of 3 different heights. There are 3 front feet (aliens, anyone? LOL!)I like false split keyboards like these because they at least attempt to provide you with a typing experience that aligns more readily with the natural angles of your torso and arms. This one has keys that are neither too resistant nor to giving, the keycaps seem to cup your fingertips, and the spacing is pretty good. Unfortunately, as with most split and wave KBs, they failed to notice that the ring and pinky fingers are NOT long, so it has a hill in the middle instead of a W shape that would aid those short fingers.I am not pleased with the placement of the arrow keys. The shift key, which I use far more than the arrow keys, is too far out of the way now. Also, I wish the function key were on the right instead of in the gamers' zone on the left.So far, I haven't noticed any problems with the RT 2.4 GHz and, indeed, things have gone smoothly. What's missing?-I wish each corner had an actual leg instead of just the rear corners.-USB hub in the rear (not ideal for wireless, though, due to battery requirements having to be increased)-Backlighting or, better yet, thru-lighting (c).-Large print because there's literally NO reason to use small print and lots of people have problems with their reading vision.-Comfortable padding on the wrist rest.-BT support so multiple devices can be connected to.-Function key on the right instead of the left, where it won't interfere with gaming.-Gaming functionality (e.g. anti-ghosting)Overall, this is a nice keyboard that I can recommend!

This has greater functionality than my laptop keyboard so is a great replacement now that a few keys have come off it and cannot be replaced. You'll need your own pair of AAA batteries to get started and, like the batteries, the adapter has its own storage housing on the bottom of the board too. The board has not one, but two height adjustability settings and the way the wrist rest connects to the keyboard via magnetism along the sides is phenomenal. There is an on/off button on the backside of the keyboard, which is good, although the instructions recommend removing the batteries if the keyboard will go unused for long periods of time. The only way to know the keyboard is on is the blink of a red light upon turning it on so watch for it.This is genuinely plug and play as the recognition was automatic and so was setup. I didn't even have to identify the device in Bluetooth settings. What I also love is that the up and down arrows work when number lock is on, which is great for working on spreadsheets. The keystrokes are comfortable, but the one challenge I have repeatedly is that when I go to press the right Shift key I hit the Up arrow instead. The right shift key is awkwardly to the right of the up arrow and only takes up the space of a single button whereas it takes the space of two buttons on my laptop. This is something that will take A LOT of getting used to. I am also unable to locate a PrintScreen key on the keyboard. My other issue is that this should really come with a mouse that can use the same Nano receiver. My laptop only comes with one USB port so there's no connecting a separate receiver. I remove 1 star for these limitations on functionality.

I wanted a new keyboard for work as my old one had a high key placement and a long key stroke which resulted in missed inputs and just overall uncomfortable performance. This is a much nicer keyboard providing better comfort and typing angle for my wrists. The keys are tall enough to provide tactile feedback but also highly responsive input without miss clicks. The overall sound of the keyboard is relatively quite which is nice for the office but will not please those that like a more click sound. Build quality seems nice too. It is all plastic but for this time of keyboard I am not looking for some high end crazy for the build quality. The wrist rest is free standing and will magnetically attach to the keyboard to help hold its place. While I do not use it, I do recognize the nice design choice here to make it easy to use. My only major grip is that the right shift button is not designed well. To save space the typically long shift button on the right side was split so that part is the up arrow button and the other is the shift button. This results in several miss hits as I hit the up arrow over shift. I would have rather they switched the up arrow and shift keys to make it the other way around or better yet have the long shift key back. I get that this would make it difficult to keep the arrow keys where they are but those are not used that often and could have been sacrificed. Overall I am very pleased with the keyboard and have been enjoyed using it.

This keyboard design wasn't well thought out, because the shift key on the right is one space further away from where it normally is (one of the arrow keys was in its spot).
